Hotel Sunny was chosen based on reviews on the Internet, almost all reviews were positive. The second selection criterion is the cost of living: compared to other three-star hotels in Nha Trang, it is very inexpensive. I must say right away that the hotel met all our expectations. I went to the reception in the evening and asked to give us breakfast early. I was told that we can come up at 6 am. We arrived at 6 in the morning in full confidence that we would now be given a package with rolls, jams, juice and other ingredients included in dry rations. It turned out all wrong. They opened the door for us and brought all 10 dishes, fruits, pancakes, etc. , that is, they provided us with the same food as at the usual breakfast time. And all this with a smile and kindness. In general, for the first time we come across such truly kind, sympathetic and hospitable people. And no hint of a tip! (I remember in Egypt they began to turn off hot water after I did not leave a tip in the room). Every day they change linen, fold shower gel, shampoo, disposable toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, and a bottle of water per person.
The room has a refrigerator, safe, TV (1 channel Russian, 1 French, 1 Australian, 1 or 2 American, 1 or 2 Chinese, 1 only shows golf, 2 - only cartoons, Discovery, Animal Planet and several different Vietnamese channels), a rather ferocious air conditioner (a serious wind blows from it, my wife even caught a cold), an electric kettle. The bathroom is combined, but with a constant exhaust (turn on the light and turn on the hood), it has a toilet, sink, and a bath with a shower. There were no problems with water, the only negative is that there is a gap between the bathroom and the wall and water flows there when using the shower. As a result, a puddle appears on the floor. We lived in a com. 404, the window overlooks a wasteland, a piece of a training airfield (a couple of times small planes flew there, apparently training ones), neighboring hotels and some low buildings. At night, if you open the window instead of the air conditioner, you can hear the sounds of a dog's life.
During the day, these small red dogs are almost invisible, but at night they begin to actively bark and howl, which does not contribute to a pleasant sleep. But if you do not open the window, or even better turn on the air conditioner, then nothing is heard. Mostly Russians live in the hotel, but there are also English-speaking people and Vietnamese.
Despite minor inconveniences, the overall impression of the hotel is excellent. If we meet again in Nha Trang, I will probably choose this hotel again.

We flew charter flights from Pegasus with Icarus. The plane was big, the food was good, but the TVs in the cabin did not work (last time we flew with Fly Dubai, where you could watch movies or watch on a satellite image with elements of geography, over which we fly). Both times (there and back) the planes took off with a delay of about 1 hour. We flew in unsuccessfully - 3 flights landed almost simultaneously and a huge crowd accumulated at passport control.
We went through passport control for 2.5 hours. Apparently, there were no air conditioners, it was stuffy, there was nowhere to sit, people crowded and worried, but the Vietnamese border guards worked as usual - that is, they were in no hurry and did not try to speed up the process or alleviate our plight. In general, there was little pleasant. The flight back was easier, without any problems.
Weather. The weather vividly reminded us of our Ural summer - partly cloudy, strong wind (frankly, not hot), sometimes light rain. As a rule, the wind increased in the afternoon. The sea is frankly cold. That is, you can swim, of course, but you don’t want to stay in it for a long time. In addition, constant waves of 1-1.5 m.
When there is no strong wind, you can break through the coastal roll and swim 200-300 meters from the coast, there are small and gentle waves (but the water is still cool), but if a strong wind blows - and far from the coast the waves are large, with lambs, swim bad. On the beach there are sunbeds with mattresses. By the end of our stay there was a fee of 100.60 and 30 thousand VND (VIP seats next to the restaurant under umbrellas, standard - under umbrellas, and economy - far from the restaurant and without umbrellas). We ate in cafes and restaurants in the European quarter, each time in new ones. Once we dined at the Gorky Park restaurant, but we did not like it. The prices are quite high and they forgot about us - some of the dishes were never brought. We sat, waited, ate what they brought and paid for what we ate (but they tried to slip us the bill of the original order for payment). Our lunches or dinners cost us between 144 and 350 thousand dong (1 dollar - 21 thousand dong).
Everything is quite edible and tasty, every day we ate seafood, took freshly squeezed juices, etc. Money is changed in all tourist forms and numerous banks, ATMs are also everywhere.
Excursions were taken to Andrey-Tour, it is a few minutes walk along the main street from the hotel towards the European quarter (if you leave the hotel towards the sea, then to the left). We went on a sightseeing tour of Nha Trang ($20), Yang Bay Park ($30) and Dalat City ($29). I really liked all the excursions, the guides were Russian guys (only a Vietnamese who was born and spent his childhood in the USSR drove us around the city, he has quite a decent Russian language). We went to Winpearl Park twice. Exit the hotel to the main street and immediately to the left, without crossing the street, there will be a bus stop. Get on bus number 4, which takes you to the cable car terminal for Winpearl for 10 thousand dong.
There are a lot of interesting things in Vinpearl, a wonderful oceanarium, attractions, a beach closed from waves (but the water was still cold and the wind was strong and cold), on the top of the mountain there is a large Buddhist temple complex (but we found out about it late and didn’t get there).
