Good afternoon!
I decided to write a little about my impressions, while they are fresh... just arrived... We flew to Vietnam for the first time and after reading about Vietnam before the trip we were ready for anything... but it turned out not for everything !!! )))
Flight transfer.
We drove through PEGAS, 12 nights + 1 on the road, Well, it all started with the fact that a day before departure, we were informed three times about the transfer of our charter from Surgut. According to the plan, they were supposed to fly out on November 24 at 21.30, but in the end they stopped at 01.00 at night. The airport once again reported a flight delay of 1 hour, i. е. the flight was supposed to take place at 02.00 at night, of course we were not happy about this, because were tired. In general, I will not go into details, but the flight was delayed a little more, and as a result, our plane took off from the ground at about 3 o'clock in the morning.
Airplane.
I decided to designate the plane on which we flew to Vietnam as a separate topic. In short, the seats in the cabin were located so close to each other that our minibuses rest compared to the plane. I didn’t know where to throw my legs, either to my wife’s hand, or to the neighbors in front... but when the friend in front decided to throw back my back to sleep, my patience snapped... Horror!! ! About 50 percent of the plane flew standing up, I was no exception ((All dissatisfied... Question to the tour operator: "Do we really deserve such an attitude towards ourselves, having paid more than 100 thousand rubles for a vacation ??? ". Meals on the plane were possible increase and up to two times, whatever one may say, fly 8 - 9 hours! In general, as soon as they took off... fed, and then watered a couple of times, in short, we flew to the Vietnam airport hungry and tired at 13.00 local time (+ 2 hours from Surgut).
Road to the hotel.
We left somewhere in half an hour after the landing field, although here we were lucky with the bus. With my height of 193 cm, I was able to calmly ride without resting my knees on the chair opposite. On the way to the hotel, after 3 hours we made a stop at some roadside cafe for half an hour, they say to eat, toilet, etc. After seeing flies and food leftovers on forks and spoons on the tables, we didn’t want to eat here. I had to dine with bananas)) We arrived at the hotel at 19.00. So count the road in hours!
Hotel.
Upon arrival, our passports were taken from us as a deposit and kept until our departure. In fact, we were hostages ((. Surprisingly, we liked the room, as well as the hotel as a whole! Wide large windows, a huge bed, a large glass shower... Cleaned daily, without the need for additional payment to the cleaners. At first glance, the staff seems very friendly and pleasant, they always try to smile when passing by. We were settled on the 2nd floor with a view of the fountain, which was turned on once in 2 weeks and then, for 5 minutes... I didn’t even have time to run for the camera to capture this moment! )) The hotel has a restaurant, but the prices there are 3-4 times more expensive than behind the hotel. We were convinced of this personally, on the first day, when we were very hungry after the road, having eaten a couple of bananas for the whole day... At the time, my wife picked me up from the table and we still went by taxi to a local restaurant.
Breakfast.
In fact, you can go to breakfast only to fill your stomach... There is no variety, no juices (tinted water), no milk, children have nothing to eat at all. It's good that we were told that if there is a desire to eat yogurt, we need to ask the kitchen staff to give us 1 yogurt per person, the same situation was with green tea... In general, we are shocked !!!
Beach.
We used the beach at the hotel purely for sunbathing. It’s scary to go where sharp stones stick out of the water in places. We swam to the right, on the neighboring beach, where there are always people in the water. There I did not come across, thank God, with pitfalls. The quality of the water corresponds to Vietnam as a whole: cool, muddy, with floating bags, nets and condoms (((Waves are ALWAYS present !!!! ! True, in the morning they are a little smaller, but children can swim only by going in ankle-deep otherwise it covers with a wave. The wind mostly closer to dinner and it burns until 7 pm!! ! Somewhere, after 7 days, once waking up in the morning, we came ashore for a photo shoot at dawn and found that the sea had run 70-80 meters from the shore, it turned out that the tide had begun For the first time I saw such strong ebb...
Bites.
On the first day we were bitten by some insects. The legs were covered with terribly itchy and long-lasting bites. As it turned out later, these are sand fleas and midges. On my feet I caught brown fleas several times. So take care of your children and yourself! In theory, the hotel staff is obliged to do the so-called disinfection on a weekly basis, but I have not seen it even once in two weeks... True, it smelled like dust a couple of times on the way to the sea...
Rats, cockroaches. . .
We met them on the way to the restaurant, walking along the embankment, where in the evenings many Vietnamese couples in love spend time on benches. Romance! ))
Dirt, trash.
I will say in one word: Vietnam is a complete garbage!! ! In every corner where you can throw garbage, the Vietnamese do it! Mountains of bottles, papers, packages lying like on the beach, and we walked both in one direction for 5 kilometers, and in the other... The central street seems clean, but it’s worth turning into the alley where the locals live and you immediately come across this monstrous dirt!! ! Excursions emphasize this very well!
Excursions.
I recommend not to take from Pegasus, they inflate prices by 1.5 - 2 times. Run through the groups on the Internet and you will see for yourself. Or, take a walk already being at the hotel along the central street. There are a lot of tours there. Ask the price and only then meet with the Russian guide (usually the next or one day after arrival at the hotel). Personally, we went fishing, got a lot of positive emotions from the caught piranhas, especially Wife !! ))) We also went to waterfalls, rode electric sledges (about 2 km long), walked through the jungle, etc.
Weather:
The first 5 days there was sunshine, then 2 days in a row clouds with rain, they didn’t know what to do with themselves... The rest of the days passed with a variety of weather, from clear blue skies (only in the MORNING !!! ) to dark gray clouds with gusty winds and rain like from a bucket. On the last day before leaving, the weather, thank God, spoiled us, and sunbathed and took pictures! )) In general, the weather is NOT STABLE!!!
Departure.
After they looked at our room and made sure that everything was in place and everything was working, they returned our passports at the reception, it all took no more than 10 minutes. We had a plane at 12.00, they took us from the hotel at 5.00 in the morning, we drove for an hour to collect everyone back to the hotels. This time the road took 4 hours, including our stop. As soon as we left in the direction of the airport, it began to DOWN!! ! It was pouring all the way like a bucket, driving past their towns, they saw how the roads were flooded with water, knee-deep water, houses were flooded with everything... I saw this for the first time, mainly in the news. Already at 10 we were at the airport. They took off on time. The journey back by plane took 9 hours.
TOTAL:
We expected more! We will not fly to Vietnam for the second time! But in general, we got a good experience and a great even tan !!! )))

Rested at the Lotus Muine Resort & Spa 4 * with a friend. The hotel is good, with a well-groomed territory, the rooms are not large, but clean and with new furniture. The center of Muine can be reached by taxi in 3-5 minutes. The hotel has a very decent restaurant where they serve delicious seafood. The beach is nearby, there were enough sunbeds for everyone, the entrance is rocky right next to the hotel, but if you move to the right, there is a good sandy entrance to the water.

I love Vietnam very much. Always a fabulous holiday. The LOTUS MUINE RESORT & SPA 4 * hotel was very good, on the territory there is a good sandy beach, umbrellas, sun loungers, towels. Quality service, individual approach to each client. The main restaurant was very memorable, with a gorgeous view of the blue horizon of the water.
