I flew LOT with Polish airlines, the last time I flew with them was 7 years ago, and the impression was not bad, but after this time, I think I won’t fly again, the planes are old, there is no service, alcohol on transatlantic flights for an additional fee, films - a projector on the wall, headphones who have not been using it for 20 years - like a stethoscope in their ears, and flights are always delayed, and the organization is terrible when a flight is delayed - 4 hours in line for registration, 4 hours in line for a hotel voucher and flight organization, an hour in line for a visa, 30 minutes waiting for the bus to the hotel, and this is plus a flight of 11 hours, and on the way back they called the airline 10 times so that we were already picked up from the hotel and brought to the airport, 15 minutes before departure, and we are still at the hotel... In short, I came home broken. But this is so that life does not seem like honey, because the vacation itself was magnificent. It took a long time to choose a hotel in Las Vegas, there were very famous hotels on the Strip, but the prices. . . 250-400 dollars per day for a room without food, multiply by 9 nights, add 2 flights from Ukraine and you can safely stay at home. The Golden Nugget Hotel is located in the old part of the city on Fremont Street, we had a room in the newly opened Rush Tower - the average cost (not the cheapest, prices start at $ 60, but double the price on weekends) about $ 140 per room - 60 sq. m, 2 plasma TVs, entrance hall, corridor, we were upgraded for free to the Suit room. Buffet breakfasts were very tasty and varied for $10 per person on weekdays, $20 on weekends, but with champagne, seafood as you wish, the choice is extraordinary. It was the best, most varied, tastiest and cheapest food option. Restaurants and bars in the hotel are not bad - and the Steak restaurant and Oriental cuisine - when they cook right on the table and manage to juggle products. A swimming pool with a slide and sharks, a bar with a huge aquarium, slot machines and tables on the ground floor instead of a lobby. The hotel occupies the whole block, and if you stay in the old part of the city, then only in the Golden Nugget. We flew in a helicopter over a large canyon - the pleasure is not cheap 700 dollars for two for 2 hours with a picnic and 6 passengers in a helicopter, but you will not see such beauty from the bus! We were on the Strip, saw all the famous hotels, but to be honest, we were satisfied with our choice - the Strip is a small street in the middle of the desert, consisting of a line of hotels, surrounded by construction sites and sand, the last hotel almost rests on the airport, I generally keep quiet about prices. Majestic, but not conducive to relaxation and enjoyment of rest. Fremont Street is simpler, but somehow greener, warmer and more hospitable, although the level of hotels is lower, and the Strip is 7 minutes by taxi (7-10 dollars) or by bus (2 dollars) - so there are no problems getting there. Of course, we could not resist shopping in the nearby outlet center - you can buy good things and inexpensively - people walked between shops with suitcases on wheels. It is difficult to describe the impression left after the vacation, but it seems that you have been in some other world, where there are a lot of lights, music, excitement and fun. YES, most importantly - be careful in the States with plastic cards - each hotel blocks (but does not withdraw) a certain amount upon check-in, and after you pay the bill and check out of the hotel, be sure to check if they have released the amount. Without a plastic card, you will not be accommodated in a hotel at all, and if you do not follow the unlocking on the card, there will be a lot of money, and you will not be able to use it. Automatically, the blocking will be removed only after 720 hours - that is, after 30 days.
