America has always been something far and unattainable for us, but, traveling mainly in Europe and Asia, we finally decided to go to the New World. We always select individual tours, and this time we combined 5 days in New York, a trip to Washington and 6 days in Miami Beach.

I want to immediately note the high professionalism of the staff of the travel agency "ROYAL VOYAGE", in particular the manager Svetlana Kiryanova, who provided us with an exciting carefree trip and even worried about such a pleasant little thing as a Russian-English phrase book! As I wrote above, we love individual tours, Egypt and Turkey are not for us in this regard, and only in the ROYAL VOYAGE travel company can we pick up tours in accordance with our wishes at a high level.

The nine-hour flight Kyiv - New York (J. F. Kennedy International Airport) by the world's largest airline Delta was surprisingly easy. Passport control, baggage claim, and here we are in a yellow taxi rushing to the center of Manhattan. Incredible feeling of unreality of what is happening. American flags flying everywhere and the skyscrapers of Manhattan on the horizon. In New York, we stayed at The Waldorf Astoria on Park Avenue, which is a city landmark in its own right. In general, most of the hotels in the center are of historical value, and you will not go wrong by choosing any of them: sophistication and luxury will not leave you indifferent. We started our acquaintance with New York with a tour on the New York Sightseeng tourist bus. For 1.5-2 hours of the tour, we saw almost all the sights of the city: Empire State building, Flatiron Building (Iron), Chrysler Building, The Trump Buildig, UN building, Brooklyn Bridge, Broadway, Times Square, Central Park, Chinatown, Wall Street , Rockefeller Center, took great photos and planned our stay in New York. The most convenient way to get around is by taxi, which can be easily "caught" anywhere in the city, and the fee strictly according to the meter is not at all burdensome. The metro is confusing and uncomfortable, one of the most difficult in the world, so it is only suitable for traveling over very long distances. It makes no sense to dwell on our movements in detail: in this bustling metropolis shimmering with neon signs, everyone will find entertainment to their taste: whether it is visiting museums, theaters on Broadway, walking in the parks or banal shopping. By the way, almost the same brands are presented in the shopping centers of New York and Miami, so it's up to you to decide where to devote time to this exciting activity. I was very pleased with the assortment and prices of such giants as Saks, Macy's and Bloomingdale's. Boutiques of almost all world brands are concentrated on Fifth Avenue. A helicopter flight over Manhattan left an unforgettable impression on us. From a bird's eye view, we saw the Statue of Liberty, skyscrapers, the Hudson, the Brooklyn Bridge and Central Park in full view!

We did not notice how it was time to leave the city of the American dream...

Everything in America is striking in its simplicity. Airports are no exception. First, each airline has its own terminal. Therefore, do not forget to tell the taxi driver which airline you are flying with. Check in for your flight at the Quick Check-in machine. To do this, you need to enter the code of your electronic ticket, mark the amount of luggage on the board, and the machine will immediately give you a boarding pass. If you have not figured it out, an employee of the airport will be happy to help you. At the nearest counter, check in your luggage and you can go through control.

Feelings from Miami cannot be expressed in words! On the one hand, it is the sparkling luxury of hotels, villas, boutiques, cars and yachts. On the other hand, complete relaxation and enjoyment of the heavenly climate on the beach. We are staying at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel on Collins Avenue.

Most hotels in America do not include breakfast. For us, it was rather a “+”, since there are countless cafes and eateries in America. Despite the term “fast food”, which we associate with unhealthy food, fast food chains in America offer, in addition to hamburgers and hot dogs, a huge selection of salads, meat and fish dishes. Everything is fresh and of the highest quality. The steaks here are just magical! They are cooked on an open fire without a drop of oil.

Our original plan was to rent a car and drive to Orlando and Key West. But when we found ourselves at a luxurious pool under the gentle sun, we decided not to leave this heavenly place and postponed the trip for the next time.

We have no doubt that this is not our last trip to America and we hope that together with ROYAL VOYAGE we will visit many more interesting routes and visit many more countries.
