FREEDOM OF THE SEAS CRUISE WITH ROYAL CARIBBEAN IN THE CARIBBEAN: HAITI, PIT
In short: the cruise is interesting, informative, but most likely we will not go there again. But overall value for money is good.
The ship itself is very interesting. Fully consistent with promotional materials and even some rave reviews. We took a cabin without a balcony, the window does not open, but the ventilation worked flawlessly. We arrived at the port in a rented car, left it in a convenient parking lot.
Very good service (except pick up, drop off and SPA). Everyone is polite and friendly, fast and clean.
Excellent (for a ship) entertainment program.
The food is rather good than not, but monotonous. Large selection of wines.
Did not like
The boarding procedure is terrible - tediously queuing for more than an hour. Reminiscent of the simultaneous arrival of several large charters in the village airport. Well, we stood in two even columns according to special fences. The disembarkation is also long, but not so. If we knew about this in advance... otherwise, without preparation, we were a little shocked
Too many people. This is especially felt by the pool when the ship is in motion and everyone goes up... The sunbeds are close, you can touch your neighbor with your elbow.
Because of this, sunbathing by the pool is unpleasant. In addition, the pool smells bad of some kind of chemistry. Sunbathing on the open deck is not very comfortable due to the strong wind while driving.
The spa is bad, they do it badly and even try to breed (they ordered one, but put up another procedure for payment)
