I love nature very much and prefer camping in beautiful secluded places, but I am not extreme and I don’t go hiking with a tent in winter.
I got to the hotel "Ark" by accident - the day before departure, my friends offered to go with them to the Carpathians and I didn't even look where I was going to live.
This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It combines the advantages of two types of recreation: the beauty of untouched nature, available when relaxing with a tent, and the comfort of a hotel.
Usually, where hotels are being built, it immediately becomes noisy, there are a lot of people, cars, lamps, trade, etc. If you go outside from the hotel "Ark" and turn your back to it - a beautiful view of the mountains opens up, there is complete silence around (and darkness at night) and you can’t even say that there is something other than mountains and trees behind you.

At the same time, returning to the hotel, you can take advantage of all the benefits of civilization - a warm shower, a soft bed, W-Fi, delicious homemade food.
Even in bad weather you will not be bored in this hotel - you can sit by the fireplace, play the guitar, cook barbecue, read one of the books about the history of the region and local residents.
In good weather in winter you can walk in the mountains (but only on the roads, as in other places it can be waist-deep snow : )), go sledding), and skiers can go to the Migovo ski resort (the trip will take a whole day) .
And of course, I would like to note that the name "Eco-Hotel" is fully true, it is not just an advertising ploy using the now fashionable word.
In general, I was satisfied with the rest, I will have to visit this hotel also in the summer.
