1. We arrived in Uzhgorod in the morning by train. We agreed in advance with the owner that he would meet us and go to the houses by car, which we pledged to pay for. The owner, of course, met us at the railway station - it's a sin to say a word. BUT! We did not wait for the promised car - he took us with trunks on a minibus to the bus station for transfer to another minibus. The first minibus waited 20 minutes in the rain. They waited for the second half an hour, then they spat and went on their own - they agreed with local taxi drivers so that we would be transported and we would not get wet on the street.

Arriving at the place and entering the house, they saw that the house had not been cleaned - there was garbage on the floor (apparently from the previous inhabitants), in the bathroom, which also has a toilet, there was such a stench that it simply turned out. The walls in the bathroom are covered with fungus and mold, the mirrors reflect almost nothing because of the layers of plaque. The staircase that leads to the second floor has a broken step - there is a possibility that someone heavier in weight, standing on it, may simply fall down or break his leg, the computer monitor on the second floor is covered in greasy prints ...In general , everything cannot be described - ANTI-SANITATION is complete!
3. Well, what then? And even after that, we did not spoil our vacation and asked for breakfast (two meals a day were included in the accommodation: breakfast and dinner).
For breakfast, Oleg brought us stewed sauerkraut with small pieces of meat, it was all piled on slices of local bread (which just fell apart due to the leaking cabbage soup) and served in plates. (By the way, the utensils are also all covered up and with the remnants of last year's unwashed fat, especially glasses). The dish was so sour that some girls refused to finish it at all - only those who were very hungry ate it. I had to order pizza from Uzhgorod (the nearest grocery store is one and a half kilometers from the house, although Oleg said that it was no more than 200 meters).
4. And even after this, we remained optimistic and did not want to overshadow our vacation with complaints about the service! The guys decided to go to the bath. By prior arrangement with the owner, we could bathe in the bath for free for two hours a day. But upon arrival - the conditions have changed dramatically by 150 UAH per hour. Deciding to restore justice, I approached with a question.
After some negotiations, we agreed on one free hour for the entire period of rest and 100 UAH per hour for all subsequent use. It was here that the mood began to slowly fall.
5. The indignation began to slowly grow, but we still did not want to overshadow the rest with trials. Therefore, we decided to use the local shooting range and shoot at targets. Again, by agreement with the owner, the services of the shooting gallery were also included in the price (250 UAH per person per day), BUT! - it turned out that we were deeply mistaken here too: Oleg decided, apparently, to rip off as much money from us as possible and asked for 10 UAH for every 10 shots. And he made a kind of bonus (well, so as not to look completely impudent): the first 10 shots, so be it, let them be free.
6. But where did ours not disappear? ! Therefore, even after that, we still naively hoped for the integrity of the owner. But it was not there!
The culmination of this extravaganza was my question to the owner about the payment. Back in November, we made an advance payment of 50% - 5000 UAH for 8 people (not bad, right? ), by agreement with Oleg - 250 UAH per person per day. We planned to rest for 5 days (from January 4 to January 9), that is, for 5 days of our vacation, the owner would have received 1.000 UAH. It was planned at first that six of us would go on vacation, so back in November they approved the price - 250 UAH. per person, that is, for five days of rest it would be 7500 UAH. But then another couple (our friends) also wanted to come with us. I called Oleg and agreed that the number of people increased by 2, but we are ready to leave the cost the same and will not reduce, so we leave it like this: 250 UAH per person per day.
7. But in the end, one girl did not manage to go with us. So let's all go. We found out that we would be one person less two days before departure - we didn’t even have time to return the pre-purchased tickets.
So, I’m talking with Oleg about reducing the cost per person: he doesn’t sleep, doesn’t take up space, doesn’t eat - accordingly, money is not spent on food, he doesn’t go to the bathhouse, he doesn’t shoot at the shooting range, and so on. Therefore, I ask the owner to reduce the cost by minus one person (besides, we had to return to this girl the part of the advance payment she made earlier). To which I get, well, just the most unexpected negative answer! Here, already growing indignation asked to come out: HOW IS IT SO? ? ? We agreed to 250 UAH per person, we were 7 people (although in general there were 6 at first - and it suited him!!! ), the arithmetic is simple: 7*250=1750 UAH per day.
8. In general, all further negotiations between us and the owner did not lead to anything positive for us, so we decided to leave this place and the snickering owner. We voice the decision to the owner, we get the answer: "No problem.
"We are interested in the return of the difference on the prepayment, from the calculation: we leave 2000 hryvnia for the lived day (and even taking into account the absent girl), and he returns the 3000 hryvnia of the rest of the prepayment back to us. We agreed on this. Everyone is happy, everyone is happy: we are - for the fact that tomorrow morning we will leave this place, the owner - because he ripped off 2000 UAH from us and the day after tomorrow others will come to our place (he spoke on the phone with us and agreed).
9. Evening. We ask for dinner. After a certain time, the host brings us two small forms with food, which included: the bottom layer - pieces of potatoes, the middle layer - rice, the top layer - ground minced meat from the lungs and kidneys of some animal. And it's absolutely not salted (apparently, I forgot). After all the trials and spoiled mood and rest - this, against the background of everything, seemed like a trifle.
We were warmed by the thought that tomorrow morning we would leave here and never again remember either the owner or this accursed "Birch Hell" (as we dubbed it). And that's why.
10. We ordered a car (bus) with a driver in advance (last year our driver Yura is a Man with a capital letter, you will understand why). So, the rise at 07:00 in the morning, the car - at 08:30. We collected our things, collected our garbage in bags, threw out the ashtrays, our driver arrived, so we call the owner - we ask you to return the difference. We get a phenomenal answer with a hypocritical smile: “Guys, we didn’t have such an agreement. Why am I going to return the difference to you? ” After these words, we were all speechless at once - no one expected SUCH impudence. They sorted things out for a long time, the girls held back the guys so that at least it didn’t come to a fight (although sometimes I wanted to embed myself). Our driver has been standing outside for an hour already, waiting for us. Having come to nothing, I call the police and ask them to send a squad. And two is better.

They wrote, took testimony from everyone, including Oleg. And finally, we went to Uzhgorod RayOtdel for a spine. Tired, exhausted by the proceedings with the owner, waiting and, to be honest, some hunger (we managed to leave from there only at 13:30, while a car was waiting for us all this time).

I think that if we had arrived, after all, in full force, we would not have left anywhere, despite the unsanitary conditions and other defects.
