About the ice age and eco-tourism.
"Tomorrow will be sunny and hot" - they said! Yeah, of course! The awakening was accompanied by the sounds of rain on the roof of the Laguna Hotel. After all, today we have to climb the mountain!
We really hoped that during our breakfast everything would be a little clear or at least the downpour would end. And although we ate diligently and for a long time, the rain did not end. We had to put on raincoats, jackets, scarves and go hunting for impressions!
Today we have planned Slavsky walks, ascent to Vysokyi Verkh mountain, visits to hotel complexes, stable pace and introduction to eco-tourism.
The first checkpoint was the lift to the High Hill and the restaurant on top of "Zahar Berkut".
Ticket price is 80 UAH on weekdays and 100 UAH on weekends. Ticket back and forth immediately. The lift takes 35 minutes, just enough to enjoy the scenery, take selfies and beautiful photos, and even breathe fresh air. But not in our case…
Just imagine: it's raining, on the street +5, around the fog, the wind is blowing in all places, and you just drive 35 minutes, taking the blows of fate right in the face! Romance!
That's how we went. It was a tin! I haven't felt such an ice age for a long time.
And the worst thing is that you can't go anywhere, move, keep warm. And let me remind you that on the calendar on June 8 for a minute! =)
Until our hands thawed, we still had time to take some selfies and videos, but for the last 10 minutes we just drove and cried in silence!
From the ski lifts, everyone runs from the low start to the Zakhar Berkut restaurant and we were no exception, we ran those few meters in a marathon and burst into the restaurant to warm up a bit. Especially since nothing can be seen around, the fog covered all the mountains and valleys.
We were warmed up with hot tea, mushroom soup and delicious fried carp! It is a pity that the fireplace did not work, but the food saved us a little, and we melted.
I think it was all about food. As soon as we ate, it immediately dawned, the rain ended, the fog went away and even the sun came out. No wonder there is a belief that good luck to feed bloggers! =) Of course, there is no such belief, but I would like to! It would work!
On the way back we were lucky, there was no rain and fog and not so strong wind.
We were able to at least look at the landscapes around us and make cool videos. By the way, don't forget to watch our videos on youtube and on Facebook, there are a lot of cool videos!
After that we went to the hotel complex "Bear Tower" - this is one of the coolest complexes in Slavske. Here you can get lost for a week! There is a rope park, a swimming pool, a shooting range, paintball, a Kryivka, a mini-zoo, a bathhouse and restaurants. The main thing is that there is enough time and budget for everything!
And after that we were lucky to get acquainted with eco-tourism in the complex "4 seasons" - http:// slavsko. info / 4-sezony.html . I love everything comfortable and beautiful, but still small hotels and estates are closer to me. In the complex "4 seasons" we got lost for several hours.
First, diligently fiddled in the trembita. And if Serhiy somehow managed, I had a sound to scare the sheep!
Then we went to meet the local full owners: the horse Efa, the pig Julia, the lamb Masha.
The complex has its own stable, ATVs, swimming pool, pottery workshop, vat for the company. I was even able to win Efa's sympathy, and she gave me a little ride.
It seemed to me that the complex is a great place to relax with the company in summer or winter. You can swim in a hot tub, then jump into the pool, take a selfie with the masha Masha, ride ATVs with the company on mountain rivers and slopes, make a clay plate in memory and get fresh air.
By the way, about clay plates. We were taught how to do such things. I made a giraffe out of clay. And Serhiy really made a plate on a potter's wheel.
Hard work and requires perseverance, but it's so cool! And the plate came out even with the symbol of the Embroidered Way; -)
And you probably don't know that Slavske has an art gallery! Directly opposite the railway station is the gallery "Maxim" - http:// slavsko-maxim. com / kartina.html , which collects works by Ukrainian and not only artists. The gallery was opened by the Arefiev family. They systematically hold congresses of artists in Slavske and support art representatives in every possible way. In the gallery you can see paintings of the Carpathians, still lifes, landscapes. And you can buy a picture in memory. Prices here range from UAH 500 to $ 2.000 per painting. In addition to paintings, there are handmade souvenirs. There is also a Maxim restaurant and the Arefiev estate in Slavske. Oksana and Dmytro Arefyefi are trying to develop not only art, but also the restaurant and hotel business.
And according to Dmytro, everything is going much slower with the infrastructure and the situation on the investment market than it has so far.
By the way, there is only 1 ATM and a bank branch in Slavske, and a good road was laid only a year ago. All this, unfortunately, does not contribute to the development of tourism. Without good infrastructure and roads, the tourist flow is greatly reduced.
And after conversations and a delicious lunch at the Maxim restaurant, we had a warm welcome at the Laguna Hotel. The owner of the hotel - Oleg's birthday today, and we were invited to family and friends! Our fourth day of the Embroidered Way ended on such a hearty and cheerful note!
