We were there this summer in June. With the family, we went to drink some water in Shayany (the doctor advised) and settled in the Blue Tisa Hotel for 2 weeks.
The cottages are in a good location - on a low hill surrounded by a garden, not noisy, the birds sing, but interestingly - not far from the center of the village (a 5-minute walk from the pump room, from the Shayany sanatorium (in which the medical base is located), the market and bus stop).
Our room was spacious, bright, with modern comfortable furniture, the bathroom is large, well equipped, in general, the living conditions are superb.
My son had fun going to the pool in a military sanatorium (do not forget to take a certificate to the pool, although you can get it from a local doctor) and exercising on simulators - not far away - just go down the hill. My husband and I drank water and took procedures in the sanatorium. And they even had a good time - you can easily sign up for excursions that are organized in sanatoriums. Trips to Khust, Mukachevo, Transcarpathian monasteries, to a trout nursery, to Lake Synevyr, etc. Very interesting and informative - you will not see this anywhere else. We walked around the neighborhood - forests, gardens, Hungarian villages.
True, if it rains or the excursion is not typed, it used to be boring.
And we didn’t swim at the local lake - it’s kind of dumb, although the locals splash around.
Hotel service is top notch. They cook individually, always delicious, everything is fresh and the menu is varied - from strictly dietary to "very tasty to eat. "
There is a brazier - my men were delighted with barbecue, etc.
Yes, the prices for everything are acceptable (at least for the people of Kiev), and we also bought strawberries, cherries, sheep's cheese and stocked up on mushrooms at the bazaar from the local population.
Summary - if you want to drink healing water, heal and at the same time relax in very decent conditions, then I would advise the Blue Yew - we liked it.
