The road through the village, we can say that it is flat, but pretty melted and half killed by timber trucks. We drove up to some kind of checkpoint, two people got out - brothers similar as twins - in camouflage. It turned out that one was a forester, the other was a border guard. Asked "Where are we going? " said: that the hotel. In turn, they asked about the road so as not to get lost “Don’t get lost, follow the signs” and indeed, after a few kilometers, one big board, then a second and a third. And at this time, as Zadornov said, “It was getting dark” and it was getting dark quickly. We arrived at the hotel in the dark.
And then we were attacked by tetanus! Shock! Not only is the road in complete darkness and it is not clear where we are going, although the GPS shows that the direction is correct, we drove up to the bridge and stopped. At the top is a complex and all in lights! Lit up like a Christmas tree! I could not even believe that in such a wilderness, in the middle of nowhere, this is possible. Climbed to the top. Parking. Met two shepherds and a guard. "Hotel? " we asked. "Hotel" said the guard and went to call the owner. The owner came out, said hello, asked what we wanted. They said that we want to stay for the night, but first find out the prices and living conditions.
“Let's go look, but I warn you that it's expensive for us by Carpathian standards, ” said the owner. “Expensive is all relative! ” we said

This is a two-level cottage with a second light, not of the usual layout: like an Egyptian pyramid, only a small one - 130-140 squares. The whole interior is thought out, everything is tasteful. The wife said "I want it! " As she said, so it was decided. And they didn't regret it. On the second floor there is a bedroom: a huge mirror wardrobe, chests of drawers, which pleased my wife, a bed with a normal mattress, with French linens, as my wife said, down pillows in the amount of 6 pcs. , I was also surprised by the mini bar, which I have not seen in Carpathians: champagne "New World" of five types, vodka of 5 types, juice of 7 types and any water. The cottage has its own kitchen, bar counter, with a set of excellent expensive dishes. Bathroom with a window. Full window with mountain views. Secondly, sterile cleanliness. Third - expensive imported plumbing. Slippers, bathrobes, mini cosmetics - everything is of excellent quality, it is clear that they did not spare money. What else struck me in the bathroom was the presence of various shelves near the bath itself. There is a place to put everything that women carry with them, they go for 3-4 days, and a whole suitcase is obtained. And we understood: for what they ask for such money (2400 UAH). We were invited to dinner an hour later.
During this time, we put the car in the garage and brought things to the house.
In the neighboring cottage, we were pressed by a table filled with a bunch of plates and glasses.
We did not expect such a service. Met the owner himself. At the expense of the institution for 50g. selected cognac for acquaintance and the Carpathians. And then "Nemirov Lex" - viscous: from the freezer, under white mushrooms, pickles and crispy cabbage. And then it was: soup with meatballs, veal, salads. Just a fairy tale. Guys, I describe all this so that you can all envy us. The backwoods of the mountains, the outskirts of civilization, and the service of the euro level. The only drawback was that the waitress did not quite understand what we were saying to her in Russian. We switched to “ridna mov” - the same effect, but the result is better, in one word “Hutsulia”. Dinner cost us 540 UAH. for two, in Kyiv everything is the same - 1200 UAH. it would be for such quality and quantity. After dinner, we agreed on the breakfast menu and time. What a buffet! The table was again lined with plates: yoghurts, jam, honey, cheese, boiled tongue, butter, sour cream, steaming coffee; me - pancakes from a frying pan, my wife - her favorite oatmeal with raisins. Met for breakfast again by the owner. Over a cup of coffee, he asked about our plans for the day and offered to make a trip to the mountains on snowmobiles: climb the Chernogorsky ridge 1500 meters high, visit the meadows where in winter no human foot steps, and take alpine skis with you.
After 30 min. We met at the garages where 2 snowmobiles and hotel staff were waiting for us. We got on snowmobiles and set off into the unknown.
We drove along the road for about 3 km. at speeds up to 50 km. at one o'clock. Super!! ! Helmets are comfortable to breathe and watch. The most important thing is safety.
Turned left and went serpentine road to the mountains. The higher, the more breathtaking. And at the top - it's just beyond words! No matter how hard I try, I can’t convey all our feelings. One word "Lepota". We climbed to the top of the mountain, from there down on skis, a snowmobile in parallel. Up - on a snowmobile, or by a rope. The beauty.
One thing is bad if you fell to rise yourself is not realistic. The sticks completely disappear into the snow, the only hope is for the escorts. And so top after top. The field of two and a half hours just fell off their feet.
And then everything that they gave us with us came in handy: imagine: a panorama of snow-capped mountains, virgin snow playing in the sun, a temperature of +10 degrees, no wind, no people, deafening silence: cognac, hot mulled wine, sandwiches. I ask myself the question: where can all these “tours” be, when there is a hotel on a hotel, a complex on a complex, a private territory around, and riding on the roads is not the same age and not the same sensations. Only here on the ridge you understand that there are still boundless, wild places in the Carpathians. It's worth visiting and seeing. And do not feel sorry for any money. Speaking of money: 5 hours of staying in the mountains cost us 5000 UAH. On the one hand, it seems like a lot, but on the other hand, the impressions and pleasure that we received, aren't they worth the money? Well, it doesn't come cheap. Dinner. What can I say about dinner! A shish kebab melting in your mouth (about 1 kg. ), served with boiled potatoes with butter, sprinkled with dill, mushroom soup from porcini mushrooms, pickled tomatoes, crispy salted saffron milk mushrooms and a herring with an onion under lingering vodka. I simply won’t continue further, otherwise you will choke on saliva. 0.7 for two - easily !! ! We paid 720 UAH, far from Kyiv. After dinner, agree on the menu for tomorrow.
Morning of the next day. Read the review of the morning of the previous day. My legs and whole body hurt a lot: from skiing on the slopes of Bukovel and virgin lands. We decided to just fall off for a day and take a walk around the neighborhood, and in the evening before dinner in a bathhouse.
Bath. This is a separate song. And then we waited for what this time the hosts would please us. Steam shower room, toilet - as usual, everything is sterile, billiard room (12 foot table), relaxation room, spa pool. What can I say - there are no words! Steam room on wood. 130 degrees, on the second shelf it is impossible to withstand more than 5 minutes, and this is not giving in to the park. We really survived for 5 minutes, we poured ourselves over a tub of cold water and plunged into the SPA pool (for 5 people). Moving in a circle, we get a full body massage just fly away. It is good that there is a lot of snow, the ski track laid by someone is still preserved. 2 hours did not notice how they flew by. Didn't go to lunch. Would love to go snowmobiling again. Again the guys took us to the mountains, but in the other direction. Showed places that are breathtaking. Once again, they called themselves: idiots, fools, and in other words, because they forgot a normal camera at home, but you can’t take good photos with a phone.
After dinner, we decided that the day was not spent in vain!
Day four. We woke up, had breakfast, and began to get ready for the road.
Ahead were Mukachevo and Uzhgorod. But that is another story.
I am writing these lines at home, under strong and indelible impressions from the trip to the Carpathians.
