We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. My husband and I decided to follow in the footsteps of "Eagle and Tails", as well as many others. We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. My husband and I decided to follow in the footsteps of "Eagle and Tails", as well as many others. This program made a very good advertisement for the hotel and the city, because earlier I could not even think that I would want to go to Rakhiv, and all the more so since there is a place to stay there.
The hotel is located in the city center (it's hard to call it a city, it's too milipendric, and absolutely not developed in tourism) and occupies the 3rd and 4th floors of a 4-storey building. 1st floor - abandoned, 2nd - gym (not from the hotel, paid) from which the sounds of rumbling iron, voices, music are constantly heard.
The hotel has a pizzeria and a bar. The pizzeria is lousy, untidy, serving - sovdep. They don't know how to cook, they don't know how to serve. The most tasteless and scary-looking pizza in my life. Another dish with an incomprehensible name was also the devil. Prices are the highest in Rakhiv, although there are better places to eat.
We lived in a room with a terrace. There was no furniture on it, as you can see in the photo. They were indignant, because why then a terrace, and even such a huge one. Chairs were brought to us upon request, the table was pulled out of the room. We spent a lot of time on the terrace. The view from there is so-so: the roofs and walls of old buildings, but there are also mountains. There is also a pipe on the terrace (between rooms 5 and 7). Smoke constantly pours out of it (either a boiler room, or something else) and it is disgusting to breathe.
The hotel itself is not bad, but there are, of course, a lot of minuses. On the positive side, I can note the staff at the reception (they try for the comfort of guests). Our room was spacious, a good bathroom with a powerful pressure of water both in the bathtub and in the washbasin. Comfortable, quiet, calm, clean enough. Settled as soon as the room is ready, no need to wait until 14:00. Price-quality ratio.
And now for the sad. . .
1. Repairs throughout the hotel on a whim
2. The room is not cleaned until you leave it. On request, you can ask to change the towels.
3. You will take out the garbage yourself.
4. Toilet paper must be taken at the reception.
5. Room cleaned poorly (greasy handprints on the doors, cobwebs in the corners), although at first glance it is not noticeable.
6. The refrigerator is more like a useless little nightstand. It is incredibly miserable, nothing fits in there, and the temperature is about 19 degrees Celsius (the cheese that was bought in the supermarket became melted in the morning)
7. Very dim light! In the evening in the room - as in the cellar. One dim bulb hidden under a large floor lamp.
8. The TV showed terribly, constantly snowed, the channels were not tuned (fixed)
9. There are few sockets in the room, given the amount of equipment. You have to choose - turn off the TV or the refrigerator to charge the phone.
10. An electric kettle must be requested at the reception.
11. Weak security, there are no cameras along the corridors, there is no safe in the room.
12. You should not count on the excursions listed on the site. Everything is very difficult. It is almost impossible to get through to the organizers. No one guarantees you anything in advance.
There is almost nothing to do in the city of Rakhiv itself, there is nowhere to go. But the landscape that opens from the tops of the surrounding mountains is incredible, the beauty is indescribable and indescribable. Be sure to climb the mountain opposite Lysaya (I don’t know the name, to the right of the front side of the hotel). On it, apparently - not visible blueberries, there are also lingonberries and raspberries. Very beautiful views.
I do not advise you to go to Rakhiv with children, because. there is nothing for them. The air in Rakhiv is far from mountainous, there are many roads without sidewalks, you have to walk right along the roadway. Lots of cars and exhaust gases. The city is absolutely not developed for tourism. It has no tour desks. But on the other hand, you can go anywhere on your own - to Yasinya (Dragobrat), Tatariv, Bukovel, Vorokhta, Yaremcha, etc.
You can buy the most cheaply at the Doo-men supermarket. You can eat at the Veranda restaurant in the city center. The kitchen is simple, but it's nice to sit. The prices are pleasant.
Have a nice holiday everyone!

I saw the program "Eagle and Tails", found the hotel on the Internet, I liked everything. By phone (as well as on the website) I was promised an unforgettable vacation, excursions to choose from, help from the reception staff in organizing excursions. I saw the program "Eagle and Tails", found the hotel on the Internet, I liked everything. By phone (as well as on the website) I was promised an unforgettable vacation, excursions to choose from, help from the reception staff in organizing excursions. We chose the most expensive room in the hotel, a 2-room suite with a terrace. In fact:
1. View from the terrace (and respectively both windows) not only to the mountains, but also to the cemetery. The hotel staff did not warn me about this, although I asked about the views from the windows and the terrace.
2. In the room, a broken door hangs on the kitchenette, the walls are stained. In the bathroom, the hood is full of dust and does not cope with its function, constant humidity. Towels don't dry overnight.
3. The room is designed for 4 people. The three of us went. There were only two cosmetic kits (soap and shampoo).
4. From dishes, three plates, spoons and forks. The kettle had to be asked for. And when they brought it, it was scary even to take it in hand (it was very dirty).
5. The bed is white, but the sheet is smaller than the mattress itself. Pillows are horribly worn.
6. For five days of staying at this hotel, the maid never cleaned the room, even the garbage was not taken out.
7. On the terrace, the table and chairs are in terrible dust, it is impossible to sit on them. Nearby there is some kind of pipe from which stinking smoke is pouring.
8. When asked about excursions at the reception, we were given the answer that they will not. And just do for what is indicated on the site, they are not responsible.
I was very upset, because. The town is small and there is nothing to see there. We climbed the nearest mountains and that's it.
I do not recommend this hotel and the city in principle too.
