It all started with the fact that my friends and I decided to go for a children's vacation to go for a ride in the Carpathians, and at the same time celebrate the new year. While we were getting ready, deciding on the dates of the trip, all the popular budget hotels were already occupied. If there were places left, then for a maximum of 2-3 people, and there were already 15 of us. Calling all the hotels in a row, we stumbled upon the Meeting at the Lion. We were quite satisfied with the prices, there were enough free rooms, and this limited our choice.
I will omit the details of the road.
The hosts are friendly, helpful people. Ready to solve any of your problem.
The hotel is located near the road, but cars rarely drive on it, so there is no particular discomfort. Around virgin nature. The nearest hotel is Zatyshok, 200-300 meters away. The nearest store is 1-1.5 km. There are few things to buy in stores, so don't count on them too much.

Residential rooms in the hotel are located in two buildings: in the main building there are 7-8 rooms and in a 3-storey wooden frame (where there is a bathhouse) several rooms. Those who lived in a wooden frame were not very happy, because each room goes directly to the street. We lived in the main building, where the rooms overlooked a common corridor and you can freely visit each other in the evenings. But to the dining room, still go across the street. All rooms are warm enough, heat well. But it's not hot, in the room where our children lived, the wooden carpentry did not close tightly and it was cold from the balcony doors.
All rooms are comfortably furnished and have everything you need. But there are a few "buts": we were given one small towel per person, there is also no hair dryer, disposable slippers in the rooms, although this was not promised.
Two meals a day, included in the price, a la set lunch. All drinks except morning tea for extra charge. fee. The food is tasty, homemade, quite satisfying, the portions are large. True, we still ate at lunch in local huts.
There is a bathhouse, small, for 4-6 people. Again, the problem is with towels, in the bath they give out only sheets.
On New Year's Eve, the hosts organized a good entertainment program with Santa Claus, gifts, dances, competitions and fireworks. And the New Year's table exceeded all expectations, an unimaginable number of standard New Year's snacks and Transcarpathian dishes.
We were not lucky with the weather. By the time we arrived, the snow that had been lying all December had melted. Well, at least it was cold and we didn’t knead the dirt. We didn’t manage to ride, but we did a lot of hiking, the owner organized trips to Synevyr and Mukachevo for us.
In short, for those who go skiing: to the ski slopes on the Gymba, Magura and Podobovets complex about 4-5 km. You can walk, you can agree with the owner to take him and pick him up (if I'm not mistaken - 10 UAH one way per person). There is also a lift in Zatyshka, but it seems to me that it has not been used for a long time. To ride, we once went to Izky, there are guns there. But there was only one rental with a limited number of skis and a kilometer-long queue. Riding didn't work out.
In conclusion, I want to express my gratitude to the hosts Natalia and Leonid for their warm welcome and wish them health and prosperity.
