My girlfriend and I had a rest in early October 2017. It was very surprising that breakfast and dinner, which seem to be included in the cost of rest - it's just awful. It was very surprising that breakfast and dinner, which seem to be included in the cost of rest - it's just awful. Nobody asks or gives a choice - they just give what they have. One evening at 8.40 pm I was told that there was nothing left and only after I started explaining that something was being prepared, because the coupon said that dinner should be, we were given the day before yesterday's heated tendon puree. I am silent about the drink before the meal, because only on the evening of the next day I managed to explain that all over the world at least water, compote or tea is offered for the meal. Breakfast is a separate topic. There will be oatmeal, or at most corn, and in such doses that probably my 6-year-old son would not have eaten. Dinner was not very different - in the Carpathians we were fed rice and cabbage salad.
Since my girlfriend had a birthday, I announced it in the morning, hoping that maybe something interesting would be prepared - in vain.
I do not even know how to list all the shortcomings. I'll just say that we were treated as disposable and all. The rooms are not bad enough. Although the story with the booking, etc. is all gossip. I booked, booked, and as a result we were relocated twice in 2-3 hours, until we were accommodated in a room that was not the one agreed upon. The water was hot, the room was clean. I asked about the bath, but they made it clear that nothing would work, because it was busy, the same about the salt room. On my girlfriend's birthday, we went to the neighboring Grand Hotel, where we were treated like people and the service was top notch for the same money. If you go to the Shipit Carpathians - you can only count on a normal room, everything else will only spoil the mood.
By the way, the transfer, if you can call it that - was only one way) in the morning we were taken by the road in Pylypets and brought to the hotel.
When we left, we were simply given a taxi number, which announced the figure of 80 hryvnias to the road, because it is 5 km. Here are some things to do. By the way, the waterfall and Mount Gimba pleased, but do not think to pay at the entrance to the waterfall - it's nonsense.

They demanded to be relocated. Moved to a cottage. Yes, two rooms and 5 beds (hostel) with a tiny bathroom (((
Let's start from the entrance to the hotel: the road is not paved, after the rain it's a swamp.
Rooms: very small, uncomfortable beds (mattresses are old and creaky), rooms are not cleaned, towels are not changed, no air conditioning. there are no mosquito nets on the windows. bathroom - "nowhere to fart", no soap, no shelves for him, nothing!! ! Terrible conditions.
The kitchen is a separate song. There is a menu, but you can’t order anything normal, because. not available. They fed us breakfast: bread and butter and expired tea (which there is not even anything to change). Buckwheat porridge, as well as barley porridge for children, was simply poured with boiling water and that's it. The most interesting thing is that there are almost no places to eat in the area - you need to walk more than a kilometer on foot!! ! The only hotel has a pizzeria, but it also has questions (((
We have not seen a worse place to stay anywhere, but we travel often!! !

I chose according to the principle - close to the armchair, a room from a wooden log house, guided by the reviews.
I liked the booking without advance payment (as I understand it, it's just out of season). The price was 240 UAH. 2 bed room without meals. Which, in my opinion, is expensive for the off-season.
At this time, the hotel was almost empty, so there was silence.
The hotel area is nice, there are a couple of pavilions, swings, flowers. . .
The hotel consists of two buildings - the main one, in the same building as the restaurant. And next to it is a wooden case from a log house. We were alone in this building.
The room is small, that's not a big deal for me, but on the hotel's website, the photos are taken on a wide format and the room seems much larger. San node in the room, a tiny shower rests against the washbasin. Somehow that's wrong ; -)
The water is hot without interruption, but the room was cool (not yet heated).
Room impressions are good. The bathroom was expected to be better.
Room service - we changed towels 1 time.
The restaurant does not look very good, but they cook deliciously, we tried a lot of dishes, there are no complaints about the kitchen. Prices are normal, not cheap, not expensive. The only pity is that all dishes with porcini mushrooms have fallen under the "revaluation" and cost much more than last year or in winter.
I really liked all kinds of pancakes, especially with nuts and chocolate.
The kitchen of the restaurant is clean, the workers are neat. I have seen a lot of kitchens in my life, this one unexpectedly pleased me.
The staff, and we talked mainly with the bartender (who was there for us and the administrator) is responsive. No complaints.
Opposite the hotel, another hotel is really under construction, and higher, near Goryanyna, is also a construction site. It's a bit noisy, but it doesn't bother me personally. For example, in the summer in Bukovel, construction goes on several times more. It is very noisy, and most importantly, dusty. Here, be patient.
And in the winter everything will be completed.
The verdict is an ok hotel, but I was expecting better based on the mass of positive reviews. Standard solid, I would say, a classic Carpathian hotel.

Noisy. Under the windows there is constant non-stop construction - an asphalt road was being built on a neighboring street. At 6 am, cows with bells tied around the hotel begin to graze. The hotel is uncomfortable. In a room on the 4th floor, due to the slope of the roof, you could smash your head against the ceiling, you can scald yourself with boiling water in the shower - be careful. The water from the tap is black - as I understand it, straight from the river, it is unpleasant to wash. Lots of negativity.

The rooms are good, for 1 *, the TV, as well as the electricity, are sometimes buggy. We had more problems in that the windows of the room faced the side where the summer tables of the restaurant were, and this is 100% audibility, the smells are appropriate, the time of this nightmare with 9 and until the last client (and the people are different, and they understand rest in different ways), you can’t close the windows, there’s nothing to breathe, and it’s not pleasant to listen, smell the farce.
There are comfortable armchairs and a sofa in the hall on the floor, some guests of our country took it literally and hung out there until late at night, the audibility there is also in order and we forgot about sleep for a couple of nights, although we tried to explain in intelligible English.
But nature, weather, etc. Great!

Such incredible landscapes, clean air, it's amazing how beautiful the Carpathian Mountains are even in cloudy weather. What can I say - it must be seen.
As for the hotel, it’s also only positive, good staff, friendly and hospitable host, delicious cuisine (portions were especially pleasantly surprised), cozy rooms (it’s nice to wake up to the sounds of a babbling mountain stream coming from an open window). Also, a bathhouse (on firewood) was provided for services, there are simply no words, and everything is at affordable prices. Recommend!!!!!!!! !

We were there for Christmas - we read positive reviews, although we understood that for the holidays the service is a bit worse than usual. But even in the “prepared” state, some episodes and things were very upsetting: 1. Bad food for breakfast (scrambled eggs with burnt fat - local bacon, scrambled eggs with cheese, buckwheat with sausage - they found a piece of polyethylene in one of them, buckwheat with cabbage + 2 slices of bread each, tea only from hay - call it herbs impossible) - order something for breakfast additionally for money - impossible - only after 10. … More ▾ We were there for Christmas - we read positive reviews, although we understood that for the holidays the service is a bit worse than usual. 2. Stupidity and oborzevshest staff - at the request to give a piece of lemon for tea - no lemon! - I go up to the bar counter - there is a whole plate of sliced lemon - rednecks !!!
3. In the mornings in the canteen they turn on some cheap pop music and chanson, under which buckwheat and sausage do not fit. On day 5-6 of our stay, we go into the dining room in the morning - a very patriotic song is playing about “Russian soldiers, heroes of yesterday, who covered you and me with themselves and the Lord is waiting for them in heaven” - I come up, politely ask to change the record - the barmaid says that “I don’t have time to play music for you - don’t play like a madhouse! ” - this is her about her busy work making tea for 4-5 people at the next table. I ask more insistently - it seems to have worked. I sit down, waiting for the next song - “Spartak, the champion, he will definitely lead the highest echelon! ” - Mandets, blah.
4. Batteries turn off at 8.00 and turn on at 18.00 - dry gloves, etc. during the day - nowhere. With children in general, the problem is that they manage to get wet to the skin . .
5. Separately, about sound insulation - we lived in a wooden building - it is environmentally friendly, but hearing how a neighbor, I'm sorry, farts in his toilet is not very aesthetically pleasing.
6. Price - 400 UAH double room.
7. Bottom line - apart from a favorable location, this hotel has nothing good.
About lifts and slopes.
The entrances to all the yokes and the armchair were constantly combed down to the stones, to the staff’s remark, throw a couple of snow shovels to make it more convenient for vacationers to drive up - they send you to hell with their eyes and grins - the main thing is to mow the cabbage - the comfort of vacationers - personal problems of vacationers. In front of the armchair in the fall, you see, there were maneuvers of heavy equipment, which left behind ditches and potholes. It is clear that the goon owners of the chair did not bother to level this landfill, and since there was not much snow, it was simply dangerous to drive up to the chair.
In addition, the chair itself is also unsafe. Or maybe it's the staff - dolbodyatly. The fact is that between the seats at the bottom there is an emphasis for a closing safety cage. Before landing, you need to stand as close as possible to the edge of the seat, because it can be very painful to hit the calf with this very emphasis. I had huge bruises on both the right and left, no matter how hard I tried to dodge. There was an impression that the landing staff was deliberately swinging the chair so that you couldn’t dodge in any way. And for all this - 15 UAH per lift.
The central yoke - there was such a track that climbing up - it was a real adventure - pits, sticking out stumps, bushes - everything so that you didn’t get to the top. True, only 10 UAH rise.
I'm not saying that everything is so bad - there was also a positive - the snowcat regularly walked while it was snowing - it closed up areas knocked out to the stones. Yes, and I just did 300-400m of corduroy, which was very cool to race in a straight line 
I mean, with such a service and attitude towards vacationers, Pylypets will scare away everyone who could potentially become an admirer of this resort.
