In Yablunitsa (Villa "Maria") we had a rest with a small company in the winter of 2012.
The trip was preceded by a long and painful process of choosing “where are we going? ”, The purpose of the trip is daily skiing in Bukovel, living in a picturesque place and the main “eco” place, for more modest money than offered by multiple hotels on the territory of Bukovel, so we considered options for all "adjacent lands" and types of housing from private to hotels with several *.
The best balance of location / quality / price, in our opinion, fell on the village of Yablunytsya, Villa "Maria".
The road was quite tiring, we got there for more than a day by railway transport, upon arrival at the railway station Tatariv, as agreed, we were met by car, Mr. Bogdan (meeting and transfer to the hotel there - free of charge, back - for a fee).

Hosts (if you don't care what the hosts are, feel free to skip this paragraph for reading). When we loaded into the car and set off, it was already dark, and after the procedure of getting to know us, Bogdan switched to a historical instructive course of the “correct”, and not the Soviet, history of Ukraine, the local lands and local characters, and the text bounced off the teeth so much that it was clear that it has already been told more than one hundred times... When everyone in the car began to fall asleep peacefully, pan Bogdan got to praising Bandera and Una-unso and about the atrocities of the Soviet people on his land and stories about how he once threatened his guest from Odessa, that he was “not to be found in the mountains”, when the latter somehow expressed himself in a wrong way about the Western partisans... Then pan Bogdan strongly recommended that we contact him in Ukrainian (in fact, even without his instructions, when I got to Lvov, I always switched into Ukrainian... ), my question: "How far, to the house? ", was stupidly ignored by Bogdan and the historical epic continued, - apparently, without knowledge about the "Soviet scum" and the cool liberators of the "Bandera" I do not I can rest normally and not wear skis)
I'm sorry that I deviated so significantly from what tourists read the review for, but I did it intentionally, because. in this brief description of one of the episodes, of which there were a great many, the whole essence of the owner is Villa Maria, and for many tourists the "quality of the owners" is of great importance... There was also: an increase in the price for accommodation from the owners after the settlement, relative to the amount for which was booked a month in advance (with a subsequent scandal and accusation of us as enemies of the people), texts like: "I will give you such a price for ski rental, if you rent from me for the whole week, if for less than a week, then go look for it", "I wash the floors here with my own hands, so go everywhere in slippers, " etc. The hostess, Maria, is all over the place, always yelling, a little crazy, like a young woman.
Location. One of the best in Yablunitsa itself and in relation to Bukovel. It is located on an elevation relative to the road to Bukovel, so if on foot it’s 300 meters uphill, if by car, then on one that will crawl up to the same 300-400m using winter sprinkles (coal and ash). Outside the windows there is just a superb view of the pines, mountains... quiet, ecologically clean, the place is just what the doctor ordered : ) Villa Maria is located even away from the internal road, so you are guaranteed peace and quiet outside the window - this is a big plus. Transfer to Bukovel was 80 UAH one way, we were 4 people. Drive from the window of the mansion to the ski lifts in Bukovel - 20min.
House and settlement. The house is a three-story mansion. On the ground floor there is a dining room with a fireplace, where you eat, if you order food from Maria, the hosts and those tourists who are guilty live... On the second floor, junior suites and standard rooms, some differ from others only in size. The junior suite has a vestibule in front of the bedroom, which is extremely convenient (we lived in such). Shared bathroom, hot water all the time, double bed and non-working TV. The house was warm and dry, everywhere except the dining room it was cold. Here on the second floor, such a quadrant common hall with a table and chairs (there are no tables in the rooms), those who were cramped in the room gathered there to drink tea or swell or just talk. On the third floor, suites with balconies. If you are demanding on the interior appearance of the room, the quality of the work performed, plumbing, windows, wires and lighting, then you are here, they are much neater and prettier than the second floor (respectively, and more expensive). On the second, they did everything with only one ax.

Nutrition. On average, breakfast and dinner cost 50-80 UAH per person per person. The food is quite satisfying and sometimes even tasty, you can also try local Western national dishes. At lunch we ate in the complexes of Bukovel.
General impression and conclusions. We had a good rest on the whole, the goal was achieved - we skied enough, breathed clean mountain air, walked to the apple pass (except for the walk itself, there is nothing to see and do), if the owners of this wonderful resort had not spoiled their nerves, then it would have been generally fine, but what to do, such is the mentality, such is the tourist "business" in Western style.
We would go there again, - YES, if the owners changed, and since this does not happen, we ourselves will change the situation)
