I read not very good reviews about Polonin and could not help but write my own.
We booked a hotel room literally 10 days before the vacation, so we chose from what was on our dates. As a result, Polonina and Dragobrat. Not very convenient that with the move, but there were no other free rooms.
So Polonina. We arrived at about 11 o'clock, the room was already ready, cleaned. The room is quite spacious, it has three beds, a hanger, a wicker bookcase and a refrigerator (everything is in the photo on this site). There is also a bathroom with a shower. Everything is beautiful, clean, the bed is ironed. The price includes breakfast and dinner (9-00 and 18-00) We were fed deliciously. I liked the fact that the food has a national bias - mushroom soup with homemade noodles, potato pancakes with mushroom sauce, pancakes with cottage cheese . .
We also ordered a bath (300 UAH 1 hour, designed for about 6-8 people). Directly from the steam room dived into the snow!

I can't help but mention the drying room where we left our skis and boots overnight. in another hotel we had to dry all the shoes on the radiator in the room, can you imagine what the air was like there in the morning?
Summarizing everything written, I want to say. We liked. Perhaps too good audibility, and poor wi-fi, but the proximity of slopes and ski lifts, comfort in the room and delicious food more than outweigh this.
Regarding the friendliness of the staff: of course, we were not hugged at the meeting, but after leaving the room we were allowed to leave our things until the evening, before moving to the next hotel. "Friendliness" in this context is enough for me.
Next year we will go only to Polonina!
