During the time we were there (02/27/13 - 03/03/2013) the water was normal. Not drinkable, of course, but it was not rusty, although it had a specific smell. Everything else is great. Breakfast is not great, but before dinner there was no desire after it. Why stuff your stomach before skiing? The hotel is conveniently located. Ski rental - right behind the fence. To the store, exchange office, cash desks - where you can buy a ticket for the lift - 75 meters. To the lift number 1 - 100 meters. It is better not to go there by car. There are simply no roads. Better by train to Ivano-Frankivsk, and then by minibus 25gr.
