Room service is good, no faults. what we liked is that they have a dedicated grill area where we cooked our own fish and vegetables. The staff is responsive. After leaving this hotel, I felt good inside myself, a feeling of complete satisfaction from the rest! I wish everyone to get out to this beautiful place and enrich themselves with culturally useful recreation.

A two-day tourist train along the Southern coast of Crimea assumed an overnight stay at the Polyana Skazok Hotel. The location of the hotel and the immediate proximity to the Glade of Skazok Zoo and the Dzhur-Dzhur waterfall, the photos on the official website on the Internet pleased... The actual stay at the hotel itself (thank God for one night) caused even greater joy! Upon arrival, I was immediately fascinated by the appearance: beautiful buildings with a red roof, wooden railings, a cozy outdoor cafe, a pool with blue water and huge mountains literally hanging over you around....perhaps this is where all the "beauty and charm" end. Our group was seated in rooms of 2.3 and 4 people. The majority of vacationers "reconciled" with the numbers they got, and the rest, including me, did not want to stay. It is difficult to describe what these "numbers" were: on an area of .4 sq. m there were 2 beds, on which it was impossible to even sit, a wardrobe, which probably saw my great-grandmother, in the appropriate form, a bedside table, a decanter and glasses in the same style , bathroom combined with a toilet was a little better than in a roadside cafe. At the end, we were waited for by a not fresh, wet bed, in which we went to the bathroom in the evening... The presence of light bulbs, a working refrigerator, hot water, TV and towels - was not provided !!!!!
They offered to stay in a cottage - the conditions are the same.
I am writing all this not because I am too demanding on living conditions, in principle I am not spoiled and did not expect even at least a European level of a hotel, but THIS?!
I am also writing to myself, a native Crimean woman, as a shame for my patronymic!
Nevertheless, we want to see tourists and guests on our beloved peninsula of Crimea! There are many beautiful and worthy places for your vacation!
They offered to stay in a cottage - the conditions are the same.

My family and I go there twice a year, in May and August. At first we were placed in the rooms - we didn’t like it very much, there were a lot of flaws. But when we got into the log house, we realized that this is what we were looking for. birds singing in the morning, hiking to the Uchan-Su waterfall...

The hotel is just great! A real fairy tale! I don't want to leave there. And the staff is amazing: friendly and helpful. And live music in the restaurant is just a delight. I immediately fell in love with this hotel. I will definitely go there again!

We arrived at the hotel on June 10th. I found the hotel via the Internet, liked the photos, and most of the reviews were positive. We were accommodated in a Suite room for 500 UAH, it is not clear why we paid 20 UAH for parking, which is located on the territory of the hotel. The room is very small, nowhere to turn around.

Hot water was terribly upset by the time, 3 hours in the morning, 3 hours in the evening, nonsense, you constantly have to break your plans and adjust to the schedule, it’s not clear what to do if you arrive at lunchtime after the sea at +33 degrees heat or at night ?!
But that's not all, in the evening, when it was already getting dark, the last visitor came out of the beautiful pool, the staff started cleaning around it, scooped up water from the pool with a bucket, washed the tiles around and poured the water back, and children swim there all day long!!!
In general, apart from a beautiful view of the mountains, my wife and I did not like anything else.

Planned back in March for May, with his wife and child, to go to the Crimea by car. My daughter loves to visit the zoo and the meadow of fairy tales. So we decided to settle nearby in the hotel GLADE OF SKAZOK. I read a lot of reviews and in general there was not a bad impression about the place, beauties and conditions. The place is really beautiful, but that's where the positives end. The reviews contained information about hourly hot water, called back - they denied it, they said there is always, they arrived, it turned out - hourly. We rented a studio room for 700 UAH per day. Half a door in the shower stall was broken, all the water was on the floor, there was something like blood on the pillowcase, the air conditioners did not work, and the prices in the cafe soared especially for May Day, and they didn’t even have time to deliver the products. We began to understand gradually. The room was given after a small argument with another, regarding the pillowcase, the lady said that it was not blood, but rust, everything was in order, but she replaced it just in case, but it turned out that the refrigerator was not working in the new room. The one thing that calmed me down was the beautiful view from the window. . The rooms in the buildings have not been repaired for a long time, a terrible sovdepiya, the shower is not fastened with one hand, you hold it, you wash with the other. I won’t say that I am very picky about the conditions, but the disregard of the staff for all this mess just finishes off, no apologies, no normal attitude. We traveled a lot and walked a lot, everything is fine, but the Polyana Skazok hotel is a small fly in the ointment in our vacation.

Near the famous Botkin trail, Wuchang-Su waterfall, zoo, aquarium and "Glade of fairy tales".
Cons: this is the lack of a kettle in the room, after all, it is already autumn and in the evenings you want to drink hot tea or coffee,
a strong difference between the outside of the hotel and the inside of the room. It was a little shocking that it was so miserable inside the room, although it was positioned as a family one. We did not find the declared phone (we were looking sooooo much! ), the TV did not work, the refrigerator exploded loudly when it was turned on, so we did not use it. Stucco periodically fell from the ceiling and slowly fell like snow. The furniture is all quite old, I would even say, like my grandmother's))).
The rooms are not heated.

Turkey, Egypt, etc. Everything is good there, and the service is at the level, and there are plenty of places to travel - but everything is not right, everything is not right. And the mountains are different, and the sea is not so native, and almost all nature is “artificial”, everything by and large is made by the “hands” of man. And Crimea is Crimea! Everything is real, and everything is created by "Mother Nature" herself! Just live and enjoy all these Wealths!!!
A little knocked off the edge by all these "foreign countries", and again pulled in the native Crimea to the "pain". Being in May in the Crimea, we slipped along the South Coast, to many hotels (I don’t take into account the steppe Crimea at all, not normal nature, not the good sea), and the choice definitely fell on the hotel in Yalta - “Glade of Skazok”. Truly a fabulous and magical place! Although, to be honest, for "all" this time when we did not come to Polyana, the reviews from our friends and acquaintances about the hotel were not very good, to say the least...
At the porter, to our great surprise, we were met by a friendly and good-natured Alexandra (she was still working during our constant visit to Polyana).
I recognized my “old” clients, and the meeting was just like with close and old relatives. From the bottom of my heart, it’s just nice that you are remembered, although not a year or two has passed. All these little things are pleasant, and they touch to the core. Everything is like in the theater - It starts with a hanger!!!
The first thing I would like to note is the pleasant well-groomedness of the territory, everything was cleaned and put in order, painted and greased. This is all visible to the "naked" eye, even when compared with the May period.
A clean and well maintained pool with mountain water is a huge plus. We went several times to the sea, and each time there was a disappointment. Either it was stormy, then the sea was just very dirty, then there were people on the beach that it was simply not crowded... You come to the "Polyana", and complete peace. No fuss, no fuss, mountain air, and even an incredibly clean pool. Well, what else to dream of rest???
The kitchen has grown significantly this year, although the service of some waitresses is simply horrifying, it is not clear on what basis they are selected. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Lucia to the restaurant administrator, she often served us (also from the "old" team).
It is no less important that the "Maestro" musician returned to the hotel again. This is a piece of the “Soul” of the Glade of Fairy Tales. Pleasant music sounds every evening, and unexpectedly for you they announce - “and now for our“ old ”good guests”... It’s just good and pleasant at home. You understand that for every person working here, you are not just another "client", but just one big family. And for that, a BIG THANK YOU to everyone!!!

Arriving at least once at Polyana, you fall in love with this place with all your heart. And you are drawn to this place again and again!
Our vacation was 100% successful and the children were satisfied, and when we returned home, all ears were already buzzing when we went to Polyana. And next year, the question of choosing a place to rest will no longer be. Definitely - "Glade of Fairy Tales"!!!
Although there are still quite a few minuses in the service, and, in general...
But I am sure that the team and management will successfully cope with all this for the upcoming season.

We rested in the summer with friends and rented a wooden frame. Impressions are ambiguous. So the advantages of the hotel: 1. Secluded place, stunning mountain views, clean air. 2. Sufficiently spacious log house 3. The restaurant at the hotel disappointed us on our first visit, but 10 meters from the hotel there is a chic expensive restaurant (formerly Intourist) - a paradise for gourmets and food lovers.

1. The rooms need some minor cosmetic repairs (we had large gaps in the windows)
2. There is a zoo nearby, at night we heard the roar and purring of cats (this is not counting the karaoke lovers who "lit" until 24-00)
3. The pool is rarely cleaned. Therefore, children under 2 years old, I would not recommend bathing there.
4. The restaurant is the biggest problem of this hotel.
Our friends enjoyed their stay. And our baby picked up Staphylococcus aureus (we tend to think that in the pool) - so our overall impression was overshadowed.
