Hello, just got back from this lovely hotel today.
Before telling about the rest, I would like to thank the organizers: Palmira Palace and Turpravda for wonderful competitions and wonderful prizes.
I must say right away that this trip broke at least 2 stereotypes:
No. 1. Stereotype about bad service in Crimea.
No. 2. The stereotype that there is nothing to do in Crimea in December.
LOCATION.
So, I'll start with the location of the hotel. Palmira Palace is located right on the seashore. The descent to which is through a panoramic elevator.
The entrance to the sea is very convenient, the water in that place is very clean. The beach is pebbly.
There are huge rocks on both sides. Very beautiful. Moreover, the hotel is close to the most popular attractions of the Crimea: Swallow's Nest, Livadia Palace. You can easily get to the Massandra Palace, the Glade of Fairy Tales, the Yalta Zoo, the Nikitsky Boat Garden, the Vorontsov Palace, etc.
Leaving the hotel you will find yourself on the Alupkinskoye highway, minibuses with sightseeing indications run frequently. To Yalta or Lastochkino 27th
HOTEL. Palmira Palace is a very refined hotel, the territory is well-groomed. In early December, huge rose bushes bloomed. The hotel itself is immaculately clean. Nice smell all over. Towels and bed linen are changed every day. They also clean daily and even 2 times (the second time they spread the bed and leave handmade sweets)!
Bathroom set of French origin: gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion are also replenished daily.
RESTAURANT. Here, too, perfect cleanliness, pleasant music, an aquarium with fish and a stingray. But the most important thing in the restaurant, of course, is the food and service. The cuisine is varied, healthy, tasty and beautifully presented. Always serve the freshest and the menu is not repeated.
Even here you can feel the creativity. I will not be unfounded, I am attaching several photos of dishes to the review. At the moment, I do not know a place where they cook better.
STAFF. Very polite, friendly, respectful. Especially the waiters in the restaurant.
SPA, GYM, POOL. The bath complex is a huge advantage of the hotel. Baths: Finnish, Russian, hammam, Japanese contrast baths 35 and 40 degrees.
Swimming pool with sea water and not least - with hydromassage. The gym is equipped with all the necessary simulators, cleanliness, order and absence of an unpleasant smell. Friendly trainer. Trainers are new.
WEATHER. The hotel was in late November - early December. It was + 20 on the shore (this figure was recorded on the beach thermometer, there is a photo).
And this fact is especially pleasing. After all, the weather was not winter, and not even autumn, but summer. True, the sea was already cool, so we only managed to wet our feet.
But there is something special and beautiful in the December sea... it is deserted, majestic and beautiful...
The slopes of the mountains become crimson, red, brown, and the shades of yellow and orange are hard to even count. . .
I can confidently say that the holiday was a success. I wish the hotel to get another 5 star.
