I do not advise you to relax in wooden cottages if you prefer silence and comfort. Plywood walls will allow you to get a lot of various information about your neighbors (as well as them about you). In rainy weather, roofs and window frames can leak, and shower rooms are no different from public showers on Yalta beaches.
