Hello. Yesterday I returned from the Crimea from the sanatorium "Utes". While fresh impressions - a couple of lines about the resort.
I immediately warn you - this is not an advertisement for a sanatorium, but my subjective conclusions. You decide.
I'll start from the beginning.
All information provided on the hotel website is absolutely reliable (including 3D tour and photos of rooms). Everything is just like that. We traveled together, lived in the 1st building, number 63. The building is 4-storey, there is no elevator - things go up the stairs on their own, there is no porter - but this is so, remark. There is no porter, but there is a constant, so to speak, "watchman". When leaving, you can leave the key with her or take it with you.

The room is not amazing, but good (for my taste). Cleaned every day (when you are not in the room, for all 5 days of stay with the maid did not cross even once). Towels - three per person - were replaced on the third day of our stay. The quality of cleaning and towels is good. The room has air conditioning, a large bed, a refrigerator, TV (Russian and Ukrainian channels - the image quality is good), a table with a mirror on the wall, a soft pouffe. Bathroom - shower, washbasin, toilet - the quality of plumbing is not perfect, but good - nothing flows, does not gurgle, does not smell. The downside of the bathroom is the lack of forced exhaust - after taking a shower, humidity and elevated temperature remain for quite a long time. The problem is solved by opening the door to the room: washed, changed, opened the door from the bathroom to the room - and went for a walk. We took a room with a sea view. On the balcony there is a table and two chairs. The view is gorgeous. (see attached photos). To the sea from the building in a straight line - 50 meters. We slept all the time with an open balcony - gorgeous air + the sound of the sea. There is no electric kettle in the room and no hair dryer in the bathroom (this is also written on the website). So, who needs these devices - take them with you. Yes, another minus of the room is a rather strange and not convenient location of sockets.
It must be taken into account that the entire territory of the sanatorium is mountainous, with a rather significant difference in elevation - there are steps and roads. The warm-up for the legs is wonderful, but it will be problematic for older people to walk in such an area. The first and second buildings are located near the sea, the dining room is in the administrative building (castle). From buildings to the dining room go so-called. golf carts (electric cars - one-way fare (either from bottom to top or top to bottom) - 10 rubles). The territory is very well-groomed, there are many flowers, of course - evergreen Crimean plants, trees. Lots of benches both in the shade and in the sun. There are places to sit and rest. The territory is very large. A huge number of paths (well-arranged) for walking. Outsiders - no. Entrance to the sanatorium - according to the resort book. The whole territory is under the supervision of cameras - I saw the guards only once, but there were no unpleasant incidents. The whole area is very quiet, there are no clubs or discos. For some, this is a minus, and for others, a plus. Only one cafe / restaurant / pizzeria - near the fourth building. I don’t know if it’s good or not, because have never been. Why - read below. On the territory there are two grocery stores, several shops with souvenirs. There are several parking lots, a good sports ground (table tennis, badminton, fitness equipment, swimming pool). While walking around the territory, it is MANDATORY to visit Cape Plaka (there are signs). Get an unforgettable impression of the landscapes that open from it and take good photos.
From the sanatorium there are exits to two beaches - a sanatorium (near the 1st and 2nd buildings) and a common one with other sanatoriums - down the alleys from the 3rd building. On the sanatorium - the entrance is only by book, the beach is fenced - there are no strangers. Therefore, there is no “honey baklava, hot corn”, etc. The entrance to the sea is gentle, rather large pebbles (in the autumn-winter period in this part of the Crimea there are big storms, gravel is brought in in the spring, but before the end of the season the sea does not have time to properly polish and grind it, and in winter it is all washed off into the sea). There are free wooden and plastic sunbeds on the beach. Plenty of loungers, enough for everyone. The depth starts at 5-7 meters from the shore. Near the buoys (50 meters) the depth is 5-6 meters. The sea is clean, the underwater world is interesting (fins, mask - and forward, i. e. down ; -))). A separate story deserves "bird rocks" - 50-70 meters from the edge of the pier. Be sure to explore them and the surrounding underwater world - very interesting. The depths near the rocks are not large - 1.5 - 3 meters.
The common beach is the common one. The coast is not at all. There are three huge concrete steps on which vacationers lie. There is no entrance to the sea either - at regular intervals - a "stairway to heaven", i. e. in the sea - as in pools. Near the stairs - immediately a depth of 2 meters. Who can not swim - not your option.

Nutrition. The sanatorium practices 3 meals a day (included in the price) according to the "buffet" system. The meal time is chosen quite well: breakfast - 8-45 - 10-00, lunch - 13-00 - 14-30, dinner - 18-00 - 19-30. The food is good. Not homemade, but very close to it. The choice of dishes is large: 2-3 milk porridges (breakfast), 2-4 first courses (lunch). Many different salads, side dishes, meat dishes, tea, instant coffee, compote, hibiscus. Lunch is always fruit. Separate "respect" - pastries and kefir. Well, very tasty. Take a plate - and choose what you want. The number of approaches is not limited. In the previous review, it was written about unpleasant smells from the kitchen - we did not notice anything like that - probably, the problem was eliminated. In the dining room - several air conditioners - the temperature is comfortable.
Road. To Simferopol - anything - air, railway. Near the railway station there is a bus station "Kurort-naya", from which there is a direct flight to the sanatorium "Utes" with a frequency of 1-1.5 hours. Travel time - 1 hour. 45min. Ticket price - 81 rubles. Well, or a taxi. Who can afford it.
That's like all. To whom something is not clear or additional information is needed - you are welcome. I will answer everyone.
Conclusions on the sanatorium: TO GO DEFINITELY. 1 and 2 buildings are more budget-friendly. 3rd - generally a strange building (for my taste). There are rooms more expensive than the first one, there are cheaper ones, but, as for me, it is unsuccessfully located - close to the dining room, but far from the sea, and you don’t run into such a territory - your legs will fall off. 4th - suites with the corresponding price.
Choose and go, Crimea is always GREAT!!!!!!!! !
