This was another surprise for us. On the sixth day of our stay at the hotel, we, as usual, went to the sea after dinner. They left the area. The beach is 100 meters from our administrative building. It was about 4:00 pm. Just at this time the maid goes home. We were not there until 18:00. Arriving at the room, everything was neat, but my husband immediately saw that we had lost all the equipment (photos and videos, as well as all the cash). We immediately turned to the duty administrator, who hurried to leave her post, but not in order to call the police for us. She suggested that we do it ourselves. After that, our nightmare began. We called the police ourselves. They arrived 1.5 hours after we discovered the theft. They began to look for fingerprints of the thieves. We were interrogated until 23-30. They are responsible only for the territory (which anyone enters and exits), but what happens inside the building does not interest them. The only thing they could do to help us at the hotel was to take us to the airport. Vacation ruined. We bought vouchers for another 6 months and wanted to relax in a decent hotel. There were a week with my wife in early September 2012. The impression is twofold: there are both positive and negative aspects. In September, the price for accommodation (per person) in the "standard" is 100 UAH per day, this is normal, at neighboring bases, in wooden houses without amenities - 60 UAH per day. But food for 150 grams per day does not pull at all! For breakfast - milk porridge (semolina, millet and oatmeal to choose from) and one more dish. A tiny piece of sausage and cheese on a butter sandwich. There are buns, but you need to grab them early, otherwise you may not get it. Tea and coffee from the tanks - no. For lunch - two first courses to choose from, who went first - they scoop all the most delicious from a common tank. It happens that one first course ends and the last diners pick up what is left. There are no compotes at lunch, they give a "drink" - either diluted powder like "yupi", or nectar diluted with water from packs. Portions of second courses are quite small. Last year, in a sanatorium in Morshyn, they fed 110 grams per day - much tastier and more nutritious! I want to note that this is my PERSONAL opinion: many vacationers liked the food.
The room is quite small, to the balcony you need to squeeze between the beds and bedside tables. The room has new wallpaper and sanitary ware in the toilet. All carpentry is from Soviet times, when it was a children's boarding house. Soundproofing is bad.

The hotel area is quite large: a well-groomed park, many flowers, a playground. The beach is good, sandy, some pebbles near the water. There are sunbeds and awnings. People come to the beach and not from the hotel, but there is enough space for everyone (at least in September). The sea is shallow, perfect for children and non-swimmers. To go into the sea "with a head", you need to walk a hundred meters, or even more. The water in the sea was quite warm: 20-21 degrees. Sometimes, if a cool northeast wind blows, jellyfish come to the shore, but when the wind changes or is calm, they go to the depths.
For amateurs, excursions to interesting places of Crimea are organized. You can go by yourself from Uglovy to Simferopol, Sevastopol and Bakhchisarai by regular bus. There is practically no entertainment near the beach in Uglovy - a tiny embankment, with a dozen "shalmans" with barbecue, pasties, etc.
Based on my own observations and experience of visiting foreign resorts, I would recommend staying at this hotel in late August-September to lovers of peace and solitude, as well as families with children.

The administration is trying to introduce a semi-buffet, ie. they all take buns and tea themselves, and if 150 buns (1 per person) were put for 150 vacationers, then someone took 2-3 for himself... and in the end, if you came last to the dining room, then you simply don’t get them, for the remark the staff "politely" advises to come first...
The idea of pouring the first courses to vacationers on their own, from thermoses, also turned out to be unsuccessful, whoever reached the thermos first, scooped out all the condensed milk from soup or borscht, and 10-15 and the next vacationers got one yushka... “Menu-order” - ordering the menu occurs after 3 days, in the end, after 3 days, no one remembers what they ordered for breakfast, what for lunch, what for breakfast? A lot of plates were brought to the table and everyone tried to remember who ordered what? After several days of ordering, we came to the conclusion that whatever we order, ALL dishes are equally vile……
After dinner, the animators tried to amuse the people on the central platform near the hotel, but the administration didn’t even think of PUTTING THE STORE THERE !!!!!....so the few vacationers who gathered on the site were sitting on the CONCRETE STEP !!!!
