This summer in August we had a good rest in a private hotel "Sheriff" in Sudak. We traveled as a family of two adults and three children, so a two-room suite with all amenities was important to us. We chose for a long time, including studying reviews, calling the hostess in advance to book a room and arrange a transfer. Our expectations were justified:
1) We were met at the station and taken to the place in a spacious foreign car.
2) The room corresponded to the description, that is, it had two rooms, a shower room with a toilet, the large room had a double bed, furniture, TV, refrigerator, air conditioning (which was not needed because the courtyard on the ground floor is in the shade).

3) The hostess Irina turned out to be the sweetest person who briefly showed and told us everything, mostly she was absent, and the excellent cook Lena looked after the house. By the way, the food was like homemade, very tasty. The only thing was that everything was prepared without the opportunity to choose from several dishes, but this was not a problem, two houses located another home cafe where you could eat well. The prices were very reasonable and the food was fresh.
4) The yard was very cozy, it was shaded by growing grapes, there was a large gazebo in the yard, where you could drink tea, watch TV, have lunch. In another part of the yard there was a brazier and another small gazebo with one table. There were also flower beds.
5) To the sea on a straight road 700 meters or 10-15 minutes on foot. One could walk through the beautiful park of the sanatorium "Sudak" or along the cypress alley, where there are cafes and souvenirs on every corner. The sea is clear, the beach is covered with coarse brown quartz sand. There are paid beaches with sun loungers and free ones. The prices on the paid beach are moderate.
From entertainment, I can recommend visiting the ancient Genoese fortress, which was located not far from the hotel, the water park, the village of Novy Svet (15 minutes by car) with the famous champagne factory and Prince Golitsyn's trail, the beautiful Tsar's Beach in Novy Svet. You can go on excursions to monasteries located in the mountains or to the nearest cities - Yalta, Alushta, Koktebel, Feodosia.
