I decided to send the child with their parents to rest in the Crimea. In general, everything that they said and showed at the agency is practically not the way it really is. there was no question of a shared bathroom. In general, I won’t criticize much, but I’ll say it’s called a one-suite only because the toilet and shower are in the room !!! ! But in order to go to the toilet, the doors in it not needed at all (those who designed this miracle think so).

People, there is an accordion door that does not close in principle, but also rattles like a ratchet. Everything flows in the bathroom, everything is dirty, the tank flows and breaks all the time, in short, nonsense . Food for an amateur. Milk porridge in the morning, some kind of pearl barley or barley in the evening, it’s okay for lunch. But whoever has picky children can’t go there. All other rooms are not worth booking. There is always a queue, children cry, they want to go to the toilet, in general, draw your own conclusions.

Rested in July 2010 in Solnechnogorsk, at the recreation center "Crimea". The ticket was bought at the travel agency of the city. Initially, I was attracted by the price, as well as the skillful advertising of the travel agent. For this price - we were offered bus travel, economy class houses, 3 meals a day, the sea is 150 meters away, a private beach equipped with sunbeds and a bonus excursion to Yalta! Beautiful photos were attached to this story.

The whole truth about such a magnificent trip was revealed on the spot, on the first day after arrival.
The village of Solnechnogorskoye turned out to be a village, with a very dirty sea and disgusting, dirty, narrow beaches. At 8 o'clock in the morning to find a place on the beach was not realistic. Places have been occupied since the evening of the previous day. Steep descents and ascents lead to the sea. Entertainment, souvenir shops, shops are practically absent. There are no parks or waterfronts.
The recreation center "Crimea" was generally struck by the absence of any service. We were checked in 2 hours after arrival. These were dirty houses of the Soviet type. Before that, the administrator Marina (evil aunt) gave a lecture on the rules of life in this "paradise". Basically she said what and for what there are fines on the basis. For example, my neighbors were fined 10 UAH. for water stains on the sheet. The houses at the base are located in 2 tiers, and people of the age must settle on the 2nd floor. The Euro-bathroom turned out to be non-working and it stank of sewage throughout the base. There is only one hot shower for the entire base and worked from 11 to 19 - you could get into it after standing in a 3-hour queue. We got the house with a broken lock. At our request to fix the lock, the administrator was not going to do anything and let us know that she did not care about our problems. The castle was repaired after the scandal. Meals at the rate of 75 UAH. A day was a Soviet-style canteen meal. Approximate menu: breakfast - porridge, cutlet, tea, bread, butter, lunch - soup on the water, pasta, 1 sausage, compote, dinner - porridge, meatball, tea bun, peach. The camp site has its own beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas, but a staircase of 280 steps leads to it, and entry into the water was carried out through sharp boulders.
Afterword - our race of 20 people was not satisfied, many were sneezing and coughing after an icy shower.

We rested in Solnechnogorsk for the first time - we decided to go for a change, since in recent years we have been resting in Kanak. We lived at the recreation center "Crimea" in junior suites - this is the first floor of the stone building, which is shown by travel agencies in the photographs (shower and toilet are shared by five rooms).

We lived at the recreation center "Crimea" in junior suites - this is the first floor of the stone building, which is shown by travel agencies in the photographs (shower and toilet are shared by five rooms).
First, I would like to say about Solnechnogorsk in general - in principle, a good village, small, everything you need is there, but the beach just amazed me - it's a mixture of pebbles, algae and cigarette butts that no one cleans up. On the second day after our arrival, the waves began and the water became a terrible dirty brown color, it was simply impossible to force yourself to go into the sea, but the next day the water became cleaner.
And now about the recreation center itself - the base itself is not bad, clean, there is a playground, in the evening cartoons were shown to children on the big screen, football matches and films were broadcast to adults. Another plus is that the base is located on the outskirts of the village, so you can not hear the roar of discos.
The room is good, the furniture is new. As for the shower and toilet - the repair is good, it was cleaned every day, of course there was a queue especially when everyone came from the beach together, since there were 15 of us in five rooms, but at normal times it was always free.
The food at the base is also not bad, as in a normal "Soviet" canteen, not a restaurant, of course, but for the cost of 60 hryvnia it suited us perfectly (which pleased me personally - they gave dairy for breakfast only twice in ten days).
And now about the beach - about 250 steps really lead to it, but it’s better to go to this beach than to the village one - the beach is clean, cleaned every day, free sunbeds, few people, the water is clean, there are no these creepy cafes - in general we liked it. We first got to this beach on the fourth day of our vacation and after that we didn’t go to the village beach anymore, plus you can walk not along the stairs, but bypassing it.
And about the staff of the base - not bad people, quite friendly, but the administrator is a very unpleasant woman, it seems that she hates people and is simply forced to communicate with them.
In general, we quite liked the rest, mainly because we did not go to the village beach. The road, of course, strained, but the same vacationers like ourselves drove along it at breakneck speed, so we must first learn to follow the rules of the road ourselves.
And as a conclusion - Kanaka is better, but also much more expensive!

The travel agency did not inform us that the recreation center "Crimea" and the base "Karpaty" are located on the same territory. They also don't show photos of the huge staircase, which consists of the first staircase - which leads to the base, then the two-way road, and the staircase leading to the beach (257 steps in total).

They also don't show photos of the huge staircase, which consists of the first staircase - which leads to the base, then the two-way road, and the staircase leading to the beach (257 steps in total). Wooden cases have plywood partitions - so you know in chilling details what is happening behind the wall and on the veranda. Facilities on the territory of the base are two showers equipped with hot water for the entire base, which work from 11 to 19, one toilet (where men, women, children go). To get to the toilet - you have to stand in line. On the territory of the base there are announcements that say that "For going to the toilet anywhere - a fine of 100 UAH with eviction! " - i. e. there is this problem, which is solved only by threatening ads. Behind our room, they regularly went to the toilet - no one was kicked out! In a word, the conditions are lousy! More economy class - no, no!
