Last year I gave the hotel 8 points, this time I decided to add another plus sign; ) Because there is something for it.
Further, as usual in my reviews, everything in order: first the pros, then the cons. . .
1) SIMPLY PLUS. The mentions that frightened me and my own impressions in May about the construction behind the hotel fence did not affect our vacation safely. No construction work has been carried out. Of course, the appearance of a concrete unfinished building is not the most interesting sight, but tall pines successfully masked it : )))
However, I want to ask the hotel administration a question, to which no one answered me in Mar Le Mare: what is this large-scale thing that will be next to you? Multi-storey hotel? If so, please comment on how such a neighborhood will affect you?

2) BIG PLUS. And immediately about a logical plus for those who are thinking of coming here: the most attractive thing for us on our first visit was some "intimacy" of this place. Despite the fact that the hotel has increased the number of rooms, this year the feeling of isolation and security has even increased. In a week you will recognize all the vacationers by sight, and the staff by name. Managers approach, are interested in impressions, remember the names of the guests. A very comfortable feeling after the Turkish millennia, where you feel like a part of the conveyor. . . This is partly why I am so worried about the neighboring mega-building : )))
3) BIG PLUS. The staff is much more friendly, efficient and professional than last year - apparently, the debugging period has ended. The room was cleaned with high quality, the waiters were quite smart, the receptionist solved current problems quickly, there was no shortage of sun loungers, the rooms are still not "killed" and well-equipped.
4) YET A SMALL PLUS. The problem of a long wait in a restaurant, which was especially acute last year for families with very young children, has also been resolved - the three-time buffet is good and varied. Cuisine, mostly Eastern European, so-called. "home-style", but there are Mediterranean and Asian dishes. In general, the menu ate only 2 times when I wanted seafood and barbecue. Among the shortcomings of inclusive nutrition are a small assortment of drinks (in particular, tension with juices), an excessive assortment of milk (although there are a lot of kids - perhaps many, on the contrary, liked this moment) and some unpredictability of the main dishes of lunch and dinner. The last problem, however, was solved in our presence - they began to hang out the full menu of breakfasts, lunches and dinners for the week ahead.
5) NOLIK. The bar is paid. Inexpensive relative to Kyiv at all, but it is paid, incl. if you want a morning cup of espresso or a glass of water. We knew about this in advance, so we were not upset. For everyone who does not know yet, please take into account that if you do not want, for example, to drink compote at lunch (by the way, dried fruit is very good), you will have to get your wallet.
6) YET A LITTLE MINUS. Benches, swings, gazebos, etc. still not in the area. When you need to work on the Web, there are few options - either in the room, or via WI-FI in a restaurant. I sincerely hope that next year they will appear - I would very much like to sit somewhere alone with a laptop...

7) BIG MINUS. Need to recharge your phone, buy fruit or shampoo, or something else? - we go to Peschanoe (about 2 km). We need to withdraw money from the card - we are going to Vilino (about 7 km). If you have your own car, this is, of course, a small problem, but I would like to be able to buy everything and cash out on the spot. I saw in the reviews the wishes for paying for services with a credit card, I also fully support it.
8) YET A LITTLE MINUS. We go on vacation to wallow, sleep off, read books, so my husband and I were not bored. Children in Mar Le Mare, IMHO, never get bored at all : ))) But many adults with whom we talked were clearly bored. Of the hotel plans announced last year, only billiards, massages and swimming lessons have been implemented. We were not offered any excursions, there were no sports activities and animations for adults either.
Well, that's probably all the changes - as you can see, there are clearly more positive impressions, so now I've given the hotel a "nine".
In general, if you are determined to relax in the Crimea and understand that this is not Turkey, you will most likely like it in Mar Le Mare. Separately, I would like to inform you that the offer is not as super-expensive as it seems at first glance - our entire tour from Kyiv on our own car with a visit to the water park near Evpatoria, a trip to Sevastopol, regular visits to hotel bars in the evenings, etc. cost about 3 thousand dollars for 2 adults and 2 children. Those. a little more than 100 dollars a day for each - we consider such a budget to be completely acceptable, and the rest - corresponding to its value.
And in conclusion, I can’t help but tell you about what will somehow affect your vacation at the hotel and for which there is no point in blaming the administration - AVOID DIALOGUES WITH DISSATISFIED GUESTS !!!
I know that there are always such people, and everyone’s satisfaction with the same rest is different, but I have never come across so many nihilist activists before : ( More than once the mood was spoiled by extremely sociable and terribly sour comrades - well, I listen to your vacation, how bad you are !!!
Expensive - don't come, don't like it - move to another hotel. . .

I can’t understand why every day I come with the child to the children’s room and talk for hours about how bad everything is here - I sincerely sympathized with the clever animators who had the patience and correctness to endure this terror. And when you listen to whining on the beach from a nearby sun lounger for a couple of hours in a row, you urgently want to leave on your own, despite the fact that we really like the hotel : )))
P. S. Who cares why I am writing about the hotel for the second time - see my previous review, written on 12/16/2010 about the rest last year. To be honest, I was very happy then that worthy objects for family vacations began to appear in Crimea and at the same time I was afraid that already this year, Mar Le Mar, which had rapidly gained a level, would begin to “roll downhill”, as often happened with Crimean hotels...
I am glad that Mar Le Mar Сlub (by the way, the official name, IMHO, is long and will not take root) has taken a different path, and is really developing. If next year the next roughness is eliminated, the administration can safely write us and our friends into the ranks of regular customers : )))))))))))))))
I chose a few photos from the "pirate action" by the pool. I sincerely think that family parties are a healthy feature of this hotel. As well as any developing studios and circles for children.
