service in Crimea
Impressions about the service in the Crimea. In particular - in Partenit. September 8-12.2008. In general, this did not spoil our vacation, we spent only 5 days there, but if comfort or something like it is important to you, this is NOT the place for you!
Do not think we are not snobs and misers, we are delighted with our holiday this year in general, and we can enjoy stew, condensed milk, tents and a toilet under a pine tree, we are unpretentious and try not to notice shortcomings, especially on vacation, but if people If they take money for something, then they should offer a corresponding service. We did not count on air conditioning, a swimming pool and a jacuzzi for this money………………………
So, in order.
We won't talk about the quality of our southbound trains. In Simferopol, they relied on chance and got into the first available minibus on the South Coast. We left in Partenit. The village is located between Alushta and Gurzuf, at the foot of the Bear Mountain (Ayu-Dag). Beautiful place. We were immediately aggressively seized by a local cab driver, who offered us a one-room apartment in a 9-storey building near the park of the sanatorium "Krym" at ul. Nagornaya 14.5-7 min. walk to the sea. And in Partenit, the Crimean sanatorium is all that is there, the beaches belong to him. Entrance to the park area and the beach 15 UAH/day. I counted 9 cafes along the beach, some were even called restaurants, but they flattered themselves a lot. Many of them are of the level of plastic tables and disposable tableware. Not a single Tatar point, that is, a teahouse, lamb kebab, pilaf, pasties, did not shine for us, but this is not the point.
We rented an apartment. Neat and renovated in appearance (beautiful glazing, laminate floors, new wooden interior doors, new plumbing and tiles, etc. ). For 200 UAH/day (this is already September). Somehow it didn’t occur to me to check the serviceability of equipment and furniture (we just returned from Europe the other day), but in vain. In fact, it turned out that 1) the double sofa was squeezed terribly, it was simply impossible to sleep there, we huddled in lumps, a folding chair in the kitchen and another bed turned out to be in the same condition, 2) it was uncomfortable to take a shower because of a hefty boiler, there was nowhere to hang a shower , 3) clothes were dried on a rope stretched over the kitchen table, 4) half of the sockets do not work, 5) there are no sockets for a hair dryer near the mirrors, 6) bed linen is the wrong size, 7) the water in the toilet is flushed only from 4- th time, 8) a cheap curtain in the bathroom is torn to shreds and hangs on parole, and water splashes on the floor, 9) there is nowhere to dry towels due to the lack of a balcony…………… well, and a dozen more such small nasty things that spoil the mood .
Initially, we paid for 5 days, but we had to leave home earlier, and so for the remaining day we did not return the money. It's not god knows what money. But HOW did it look! People just went on a wild hysterical scandal completely inadequate to the expressed request, they didn’t even deign to pick up the key when we left (apparently, their conscience is still not clear or not to meet with us, although we behaved in a completely civilized manner, tried to agree humanly and generally not too insistent). Of course, changing locks is cheaper than looking people in the face honestly or paying taxes .
In general, the address of St. Nagornaya 14 cannot boast of decent owners / or landlords / or other trusted persons (well, then they still have the same unscrupulous relationship with a bunch of holiday tenants) and is completely not interested in having future customers.
