We rested with my husband and two small children at the end of June 2010 in the Fortuna suite for 20 days, so the impressions were enough for an objective assessment.
Accommodation conditions met our expectations. By and large, in everyday terms, everything was fine, although the satellite TV often did not show anything and there were occasional interruptions in hot water. The staff are friendly and helpful, we were treated very sincerely. What can you say about the owner. She is probably not a bad person, but somehow we did not have a relationship with her. The amount of payment for the room and meals upon arrival turned out to be more than agreed in advance (though not by much, but the sediment remained).
We liked the hotel, but we will never go to Nikolayevka again. Hole hole. Village for the middle class. And don't say it's cheap! There are many grandmothers who were sent to rest at sea with their grandchildren. The beach is overcrowded and dirty, the sea is the same. There is simply nowhere to go for a walk, in the evening everyone stupidly loiters along the "main street", buying trinkets or drinking and eating. The entrance to the city beach on the one hand through a series of garbage cans (and everyone is forced to pass in close proximity to them), and on the other hand - along a very high metal staircase with sloping and rust-eaten steps. In general, there is no infrastructure in Nikolaevka. I sincerely advise, if you have money to stay at the Fortuna Hotel (and this is not the cheapest hotel in the village), then it’s better not to go to Nikolaevka, for the same money you will find accommodation in other hotels in a more pleasant place in Crimea! Believe me, living in a palace among shit is not too much fun!
