Hotel "Cimmeria" Koktebel
I returned from Koktebel only two days ago and decided to share my impressions of the rest. We settled with my wife in a hotel called "Cimmeria". The hotel is located in the center of Koktebel, near the post office and right next to the main street leading to the sea. The hotel is not bad enough, it consists of cottages, each cottage has two rooms. The rooms are comfortable, all two-room, with all amenities. The territory of the hotel is all fenced and separated from the bustle of the city. The area is very cozy and quiet, a lot of greenery, in the evenings we sat in the gazebo, drank wine and enjoyed the starry sky.
The security at the hotel is constant, there is a car park where we and all the clients left their cars. The rooms are cleaned every day. The design of the rooms is very good, the owner of the hotel is currently reconstructing it and the rooms are being transformed even better. There are no problems with water, there is always hot and cold water.
We also ate on the territory of the hotel in the cafe "Svetlana", I want to say a few words about this cafe. We really liked the cafe for its quality, the friendliness of the staff and a fairly good variety of dishes. It was especially convenient that the cafe is located 3 meters from the room. The food is very tasty, as we later found out, this is the head chef and the director of this cafe, her name is Svetlana, she is responsible for the quality. We had no complaints, but only gratitude to the staff and the cook of "Svetlana". Prices, as for the city of Kyiv, and we came from Kyiv, are not very high, even low. For example, the price of vegetable salads is a maximum of 9 UAH, the most expensive seafood costs 19 UAH. etc. So like this. And I almost forgot, the hotel has its own bakery, where they bake pies and buns with different fillings. Delicious just abaldat.
The hotel also has its own beach, it is located next to the Rendezvous restaurant, we sunbathed on this beach. The beach is not very bad, it is cleaned every day, there are two platforms that go 15 meters into the sea and people can sunbathe right in the sea. From the restaurant "Rendezvous" we were brought food on portable tables directly to the beach, everything was delicious and the prices were normal, not exorbitant. A couple of times in the evening we were in this restaurant, tried the grill menu, which other visitors had previously advised us, we really liked it. In the evening, the tables of the restaurant are taken out to the areas where people sunbathe during the day, and by candlelight, in the sea, we ate barbecue and drank wine. Another plus of the restaurant is that there is no thundering music and this is the only place in Koktebel where you can more or less take a break from the tourist traffic.
We were in Turkey in June, so there is something to compare with. Yes, service in the Crimea is not Turkey, but there are already establishments that leave a pleasant impression. In general, the hotel and these establishments left only pleasant impressions, thanks to the owners. If we calculate the budget of our trip, then in general it amounted to 1500 USD, of which transfer by car Kyiv-Koktebel-Kyiv and driving around the Crimea - 300 USD; hotel accommodation 490 c. u. (7 days); excursions - 150 USD; food and buying wine for the winter, as well as souvenirs and gifts to friends and relatives - 600 USD.
