I haven't experienced such peace and quiet in a long time. A light serpentine brought us down past the vineyards straight to the gates of the Koktebel Country.
The village is very quiet and small. There is a market, shops and there are a lot of places where you can eat cheaply and tasty. I'll tell you right away about hotels and guest houses. There are many of them. For every taste and budget. Of course, as in any resort village, the distance from the sea affects the price. The sea is clean and quiet, and most importantly very warm. The village itself is located in the bay, thanks to it, it rarely stormed. Only three days for the entire holiday. Thanks to the mountains, there were no strong winds. Near the sea there is quite a worthy water park and a dolphinarium. People from other cities come here.
And people in Koktebel "hooked" me. The village, as I said, is small, all the people, as if in a big village, smile. This was a little embarrassing at first, but then she began to smile herself not only to the locals, but also to the newcomers. Having traveled all over the Crimea, and having visited Sudak, Alushta, Simferopol, Sevastopol, Yalta, I realized that you will not find better and more beautiful than Koktebel. Holidays in this little magical country will appeal to newlyweds, families and even with small children, just couples, pensioners. Why for these categories. Koktebel is attractive for young people with live music in cafes and bars on the waterfront, all kinds of discos, solitude on the beach. For families with children, this is certainly entertainment. A lot of playgrounds with various trampolines, competitions. For pensioners - walks along the promenade and a relaxing holiday in sun loungers on the evening beach.
