I wanted to go to a quiet, cozy place in the Crimea - they chose Katsiveli. In principle, it’s good there, if it weren’t for cars, which become many times more with the onset of July and good weather. In principle, there are no sidewalks in the village, just like a sidewalk, then a road, so you have to be vigilant so that you are not crushed. Well, you breathe, of course, exhaust gases.
The Mustang Hotel was chosen as the place of settlement. I didn’t find a single bad review on the Internet, everything is detailed on the hotel website, there are photos of the rooms from different angles. When booking, the administrator answered all questions quickly and clearly. I liked it. We arrived in the morning and checked in with no problems. True, during registration, I was a little alarmed that the administrator took copies of our passports (which we still have not seen in other hotels, they only wrote down passport data in the registration book) and after payment did not immediately write out a check, but only after a reminder, what needs to be done.
We had a suite and it fully corresponded to the description and photos on the site, in general, everything is very good with the rooms (you can close your eyes on a slightly broken handle of the door to the bathroom, a falling off lampshade of one of the table lamps and a lopsided closet door). Cleaning is daily (but, to tell the truth, we don’t litter like that to clean every day), linen is changed regularly (for 12 days of our vacation they changed 3 times). The balcony in the room is good - one drawback is that it goes directly to the balconies of the hotel opposite. And there people, if not on the beach, then on the balcony (it’s clear to eat, read, do pedicures, smoke, etc. in the air, it’s more pleasant), in general, you go out onto your balcony as if on a stage, immediately all the attention is on you. But in the end it's a good number.

Now about food - it is included in the price of the room during the high season (breakfast and lunch). For breakfast, this year's innovation is a buffet. Set of dishes:
some kind of porridge (one kind, either oatmeal, or buckwheat, or wheat - thanks for the porridge, cooked normally),
vegetable cutting (always cucumbers, tomatoes, white pepper),
cold cuts (2 or 3 types of sausage - I don’t know for sure, I don’t eat it),
cheese (2 types),
sometimes broth,
sometimes a casserole with something (most likely sausage or liver),
sometimes sausages (from "toilet paper" with pepper),
2 times there were pancakes,
bread, butter, mayonnaise, sauce, if there are pancakes, then sour cream,
milk, muesli, pads (such as a quick breakfast), bread.
Of course, the buffet is much cheaper for the hotel than a la carte. But what do we have against the buffet?
1) There are suspicions that the leftovers from breakfast (the same vegetable cuts and sausage were used to prepare lunch dishes).
2) All guests have breakfast differently, one, for example, coffee and a sandwich, the other both first and second and compote. It turns out that you pay for a rich breakfast of a stranger.
3) It’s unpleasant to walk around the tables with a plate, especially when other guests are bustling around, you have to watch, no matter how they push you and be more careful yourself.
4) There is a chance to eat something that was touched by another guest (after all, not everyone uses devices for applying, or, for example, something fell and someone quietly put it back.
Lunch was hearty, and, as a rule, successful. As a dessert, they gave 2 times 2 apricots, and a couple of times cookies (not tasty).

At the expense of dinner - it is calculated that people will order dinner for themselves for a separate fee, which many did, and we also at first. In addition, they strongly asked to order dinner immediately after lunch (as one waitress said, so that you do not wait in the evening, well, we “did not take a steam bath”), but how do I know what I want for dinner and whether I want it at all, right after hearty lunch? In general, we ordered 3 or 4 times just pancakes with cottage cheese, the first 2 times it was very tasty, normally cooked, but then they were either with less cottage cheese or burnt. The cook did not distinguish himself by constancy.
And yet, I was surprised that you can buy, for example, only 3 cheesecakes (cheesecakes, ktati, at space prices - 3 pieces - 32 hryvnias, and in general there was nothing and never any curd for breakfast and lunch) or 3 pancakes, exactly by the piece . But what if I have one 3 a lot, but for two - 3 is not enough? I wanted to somehow order cottage cheese (there is “Create your own dessert” on the menu - the main components are ice cream, cottage cheese and various sprinkles and toppings for it. Well, I think I’ll make myself a cottage cheese dessert with sour cream, but it wasn’t there! The waitress said that cottage cheese is only possible with ice cream and nothing else, that cottage cheese is just an addition to ice cream and it doesn’t go separately, hm. Well, I don’t know... It’s very strange.
Well, it's all about food.
Mustang's website says "The complex has a small cozy courtyard with many flowers, a fountain and unobtrusive calm music. " Yes, the courtyard is cozy, but in the summer cafe, when visitors appeared, for some reason they immediately turned on the TV right away, why - I don’t know, probably it would be better to really turn on quiet unobtrusive music?
And also “For our guests, a tea room has been organized, where you can drink tea at any time of the day, if you wish, you can take it in a thermos with you to your room. ” Yes, a thermos in the room is great. But the tea room is just a table in the corridor of the hotel with an electric kettle, cups, sugar and sometimes sucking sweets.
But, in principle, it's all the little things. The hotel is not bad. The administrator is trying, she even worked for the waiters, who for some reason were gone (well, everything happens in life).
How long to go to the sea?

To the beach under the radio telescope - 8 minutes (spotted), but there are already quite a lot of people there in July, vacationers come there on foot and even come from Simeiz. A small warning - on Thursdays, sewage waste is poured into the sea, the water becomes dirty, dead midges and turbidity, but by the evening it all goes away and it is again clean and transparent. By the way, I have never seen such clean water, it's great! It takes about 15 minutes to the beaches in the House of Creativity, depending on which one you go to (the beauty is that you can even have your own beach there, or with a minimum number of people).
Will we go there again?
I don't know, probably not. There are places that have sunk into the soul more (well, the infrastructure is better there and the prices are lower, with simpler food).
All of the above are my observations and my subjective opinion, go and try it, is it really so? ; -)
