My 9-year-old daughter had a rest in the first summer shift at the Ozerny camp. From half the shift, I lived "next door", in Gurzuf. She could come to the child at any time, so she saw their life with her own eyes. In a nutshell: remember your Soviet childhood and vacation. The room was for 12 people, bunk beds (fortunately, the daughter was traveling with her team, everyone knew each other). The furniture is not new, but intact. I read horror stories about the shape 3 sizes larger and the old one - no, the shape was good. Children went to the beach in ordinary clothes, not in uniform. At sea, indeed, they entered the water on a whistle, and went out on a siren : ) But, in my opinion, you can’t cope with them in a different way. Strictly with hats: everyone must be in them. As for the left-luggage office - yes, indeed, there is a system that is incomprehensible to me: the children leave their suitcases in the cell, they take the necessary things with them. It’s far to go to the camera, no tokens are given in exchange for things. Therefore, do not give children expensive bags and suitcases, and do not give technology such as iPads: it will be calmer for everyone, and there is no time to play on these devices. . In my opinion, it's good that the children are busy from morning to evening - there is no time and energy for stupidity. What they write that there are no outlets is true. In the rooms, apparently, according to Soviet safety standards, sockets are not provided. Everyone charged their phones from the only socket on the balcony (as they say, on the deck), and there was a long queue. Hence the conclusion: do not give an expensive phone, but give a cheap one, coupled with a charging-solar battery. The food in the dining room did not cause any complaints from her daughter (she is not spoiled in this regard), although all the children lost weight after the shift. It is significant that the children came from the dining room and carried bread. On the one hand, it is bad, on the other, it is sometimes useful to learn to appreciate what is devalued in ordinary life. They told me that the amount for the food of one child had not changed for ten years. The child was satisfied with excursions, events, concerts. Nature and the sea are magical. With the counselors, as I understand it, how lucky - out of our three counselors for one, the children complained that he was cursing, as a result he was fired. The other two children loved. In general, there are more pluses than minuses. As the daughter said: "When we left, all the girls cried, and even two boys" : )))
