The trip to the Crimea began with the train. Train - Samara-Simferopol No. 209 (back 210).
Car number 7 - compartment. The car surprised me immediately when they entered, with a pleasant coolness - the air conditioner was working. The toilet is normal, not "bio", which gave a guarantee that it would not overflow, but was closed in sanitary areas.
We did not see Russian customs either when we were going there or back. The border guards limited themselves to viewing (very quick) passports. The Ukrainian customs officer asked about the transportation of valuable goods, to which we replied that we only had personal belongings and asked us to name the exact amount of imported money - they named it, there was not much of it, only for the road, all the money was on the Visa card.

We arrived in Simferopol at 19.52, exactly on schedule - it was already twilight, changed a little (2000 rubles) for hryvnias at the extortionate rate of 245 - it turned out 490 Gy - right in the very first window at the station - the same rate was in the vicinity of the station everywhere.
We had to get to Gaspra, to the stop of the former sanatorium Marat - they asked at the bus ticket office, but they punched tickets to Miskhor for 25 kopecks hryvnia. The bus left at 20:30. But the driver said that we would not get to Marat on the same bus, because it only goes to the Miskhor bus station and we would have to go three more stops. He offered to take us for 20 Gy, to which we agreed, because it was already dark, and 80 r for two was not money.
We drove through Yalta, we stood there for about 10 minutes, there all the passengers got off, my wife and I stayed, then three more girls came, who also went to Marat. Bus - Bogdan Ukrainian. We left at Marat's at about 22.30. We found a signboard Aytodor Yug - hotel, to the left of the entrance to the park-hotel Marat. The entrance is common, there is a security booth, they let us through without any problems, they showed us where to go - to the left past the former concert hall, and now the Viking cafe.
Aytodor Yug is a five-storey building, earlier it was the 7th building of Marat. Now with Marat only the entrance is common, and the entrance on the other side is separate. At the reception, we were gladly greeted, given to fill out a questionnaire, keys, guest cards, all within a few minutes - an elevator to the 5th floor and here we are in room 502 - an apartment category.
The room has three rooms, a toilet combined with a shower, three balconies, each with chairs, one also has a plastic table. To the right and left are bedrooms with new huge double beds, bedside tables at the head, an armchair and air conditioners, in the center there is a living room with a sofa and an armchair, a TV, a fairly large refrigerator with a minibar. Also in the living room there is a kitchen corner with a sink, cupboards with a full set of dishes - plates, spoons, forks, knives, cups, salt shakers, a sugar bowl. There was also an electric kettle, teapot and microwave.

TV 54 cm, 15 channels are tuned, Russian pieces 8 - 1, Russia, NTV, TNT, Planet, and some more.
Two air conditioners - new, worked perfectly - cooled the rooms in a few minutes. View from the balcony to the mountains, at the bottom of the path, along which people and trees approach. The Viking Cinema and Concert Club opposite was a little in the way - a gray Soviet-built building, but surprisingly there was no noise from it. Of course, the southern rooms seem to have a better view - the sea and the pool, but there was always noise from the people at the pool, especially in the evening, and we have silence...
The only drawback of the room was the old balcony doors that opened very tight. But our houses are the same, so we are used to it -)). All other furniture and plumbing is in good working condition, there is a boiler - there was always hot water! . The cabin is very comfortable even for me, with my almost 2 meters tall and 100 kg of weight. The toilet was flushed as it should be, the refrigerator was freezing, the lights were on everywhere. You can iron on the floor - there is a board with an iron, always at any time.
The boarding house has a decent swimming pool, with fresh water, it was cleaned daily, I get up early, I saw it with my own eyes. In the evening it has beautiful lighting. There are two billiard tables in the hall - Russian and American, 20 UAH per hour. There is also a Wi-Fi access point in the lobby - free of charge around the clock, comfortable sofas to sit, Skype calls home right from there - a very pleasant surprise, it was not written about this on the boarding house website. We ordered in advance 2 meals a day - breakfast and dinner, it was possible to order everything separately. We ate at the Silver cafe, located on the basement floor of the boarding house - an excellent "pirate" atmosphere, normal dishes, delicious. The service is very fast, brought and cleaned immediately. It was cheaper than in the cafes on Marat's patch. The staff in Aytodor is very friendly, they answered all questions. They read reviews on the Internet about themselves, it was worth writing about the fact that there is no hair dryer in the room, in the evening the hair dryer was lying on the table - it was very pleasant for my wife, with her long hair, drying them is a whole problem. On the first evening, after returning from an excursion, there was a bottle of champagne, chocolate and stunning roses on the table, which stood all 8 days that we were there. Upon leaving the boarding house, we were given a bonus for the next visit - 5% of the amount of our current order - bonuses increase each time. A very competent policy is to make yourself “regular guests. ”-)

Guests of Aytodor go to the beach Maratovsky, a cable car works, free of charge, with a guest card. The beach is small, clean, there are a lot of people in August, we went twice in total-) The rest of the time we went on excursions. The location of the boarding house contributes to this, almost in the middle between Yalta and Alupka, a stone's throw from the Vorontsov Palace, the cable car to Ai-Petri and the Swallow's Nest on the other side.
