We checked into the Helena Hotel, upon check-in they said that the key should be handed over to the reception when we leave. Settled on the 3rd floor in room 304, I liked the room. The first day everything was great, on the 2nd day we went on an excursion for the whole day, we didn’t hang a sign that cleaning was required in the room, we left early, handed over the key, the girl at the reception knew that we were going for the whole day, but she didn’t say anything and didn’t warned about the cleaning in the room that it is carried out daily. When we arrived at the room, the garbage was removed from the bucket in the bathroom, the rug was removed and the towel was changed. In the room, everything was scattered as it was, and dirty coffee mugs remained, including. We began to get ready to walk, took a bag that had been lying all day in the room and 4000 rubles were not there. Which I left on the way back to Novorossiysk. We went to the reception and asked who came to our room and why we were not warned about the daily cleaning of the rooms. They started to be rude to us, they said - “you must have spent a lot today”, as if we want to return the money in this way! They started talking, we never had a theft in a hotel and all that, they say, but how do you prove that the money was in the room... we asked to call the maid, they said that she would only be in the morning. We waited for the morning and went down to talk to her and the director, the director had already left at 9:00, they said that he should wait for you? The maid came - could not remember when she was cleaning our room, we asked her name and surname - she said I won’t tell you anything. We went to the police, told the officer the whole story, and went to Helena. The maid did not have a passport, and they could not find a document on employment either. The police officer talked to the maid, but of course she said she didn't take anything. We went back to the police and filled out a theft report, then we went back to the hotel with the investigators and they took fingerprints from the door and from the windowsill where the bag was.
Unfortunately, our third day in Feodosia ended not with swimming in the sea, but with a showdown at the Helena Hotel.
And with a spoiled mood, and without money. we left home.
P. S. the service is of course at the highest level, they have never seen such a negligent attitude of the hotel staff towards the residents, they did not even try to figure out the situation, the rules of the hotel, which, as it turned out, were under the TV, did not bother to show me, and after the incident they answered ^ well, they there is^! There were only negative emotions about the stay, and this is putting it mildly, if I had written a review immediately after the incident, there would have been a lot of obscene language. So, we do not advise anyone to live in this hotel, spoil your whole vacation!
Zemskaya Street, on which the hotel is located, has remained a beautiful, pedestrian and quiet street!
I'll add pictures later
