Favorite Evpatoria
I love this ancient city by the sea. At one time I lived here for 3 years, walked along the narrow old streets, enjoyed the sea breeze and architectural sights.
The most popular tour route in Evpatoria is "Little Jerusalem". This is a tour of the Old City, with a visit to the temples of different religions: the Khan-Jami mosque, the Nicholas Cathedral, the Armenian Church, the Tekiye monastery, the Yegia-Kapai synagogue, the Karaim kenasa. At the end of the tour, you can have lunch in colorful national restaurants (Karaman, Yoskin Kot, Dzheval, Kezlev Kavesi at the Gezlev Gates, etc. ), which are located in the Old Town. The route passes along Karaimskaya Street, where street festivities "Evenings on Karaimskaya" are organized on Fridays in summer, with craft workshops, souvenirs, theatrical performances.
This unique city also has two embankments (named after Tereshkova and named after Gorky), sandy beaches, an Aquarium, an Aquapark in Frunze Park, a new Dolphinarium, a mineral water pump room, because Evpatoria is a year-round balneo-mud resort. And there are many other interesting things in this wonderful city - come, you will not regret it!
