For I have a baby who can be impatient at the most inopportune moment. What they offer on the Dreams beach as a toilet is creepy, I want to unsee it, in my eyes it crossed out almost all the good that was in this resort. It's just a shame that the administration of the sanatorium was not ashamed to offer THIS as an amenity to its vacationers. Personally, I will never go to the Dream again even for free for this reason.
It is clear that everyone relieves themselves in the sea, since no one in their right mind will let their child into IT, and adults also need to have remarkable fortitude in order to dare to use the outhouse there. I have never seen anyone enter this toilet. And there were more than a thousand people in the sanatorium, on the beach, respectively, several hundred, at least . .
2. The second fat minus is the beach is far away.
Two and a half kilometers in one direction... well, it’s still okay to go there - a walk, fitness, breathe, drop into a store, but I don’t feel like walking such a distance back in the heat. I want to keep freshness after the sea, and not sweat. Still, the first line allows early swims before breakfast and, on the contrary, late swims after dinner and even night swims... There will be problems with this in the "Dream" - stupidly its beach is open from 8 to 18 hours, at other times you can get to it can only be through some other, social beaches, passing by the edge of the sea. Well, or climb over the fence)))
3 The third minus for me personally is that there is no smoking area. Some kind of kindergarten - well, is it really impossible to single out some kind of nook on the territory? Yes, even at the same gate through which smokers are kicked out. What's the disrespect? As a result, all over the territory, here and there, they still manage to smoke, cigarette butts are lying around - what's good? Make it cultural! Moreover, it will not cost anything, except to print a sign with the word "smoking room"))
4. Playground - shame. Nothing to even talk about. Considering that hundreds of children were in the sanatorium at the same time, one tiny slide with only tiny swings did not save the situation. It's just greedy administration, I think. These playgrounds are no longer so expensive that it would be impossible to buy a couple. There is almost no entertainment anyway, and there is also no playground - it’s generally a disaster for those with many children.
5. Another minus - in many rooms there is no air conditioning! We are not yet in the heat, but how do people survive there in July-August, when the temperature rises above 40 degrees? Bullying is natural. Especially, over children with disabilities, who have enough problems without it. And they also have to toil from the heat.
6 The sixth minus is the Soviet order in terms of entry and exit from the building, from the territory: the building is locked at 23:00, three of the four gates at different times in the evening. Some kind of madhouse... You can’t go out for a walk or smoke. This is not a pioneer camp after all.
7 Nowhere to dry clothes. In the room, it does not dry categorically.
8 Exactly half of the resort's beach was made a paid area - such as VIP))) there are sun loungers, umbrellas and bungalows - paid. Considering that the sanatorium was almost completely populated by people on social vouchers, it would be funny if it were not so disgusting! As a result, half the beach is filled with people like a barrel of herring - so that even some bus routes take the guests of the sanatorium to a social beach nearby! And the second half of the beach is striking in its emptiness. In two weeks, I only saw twice that people rented a bungalow. And the beach employees invite passers-by to this paid half - strangers who have nothing to do with the Dream. Disgusting!
Now the pros:
1. The rooms are freshly renovated, the windows are plastic, the furniture is new, the mattresses are excellent (even my sore back calmed down there), the linen was washed well. Old TV, but showed well over 20 channels. Plumbing worked great, new showers. There is always water in the cooler at the reception desk - you can take as much as you like, you can make tea. There is also an iron and ironing board.
2 Food. . . this is difficult: on the one hand, many dishes are simply impossible to eat even from hunger, they are so badly prepared. On the other hand, you can always, in principle, choose something more digestible. The portions are gigantic in my opinion. They will always give a supplement, if any.
Soups and cereals - a buffet, the rest must be ordered. Stupid system, but, apparently, it seemed to them more convenient. We were always brought everything ordered, but a friend from the next room complained that they often did not have enough salads. So everything is not so clear.
The waiters are wonderful young boys and girls who manage to be cute in such a hard doggy and very, very low paying job.
In short, food - the Soviet canteen. Absolutely not a restaurant
3 The sanatorium arranged bus transfers after breakfast and after lunch to and from the beach. This is a plus in karma) There was never a crush on buses, and we traveled twice every day for two weeks on different flights. Well, yes, several people usually rode standing up, although there were two or three buses. But it's only five minutes. In my opinion, you can get there standing up, I don’t see anything terrible.
4. There is a children's room in the room where you can leave the child to play. There is a disco in the evenings and cartoons on the big screen.
5 The staff was great - very polite people, I liked everything. Everyone tried to help, if suddenly something was needed: the waiters, and administrators, and security guards - I remember everyone with pleasure.
cons: pseudo "buffet", monotonous food, "abundance" of meat dishes, bust with video cameras, far from the beach, the beach is not prepared at all, the sunbeds were left from Pan Ataman Gritian Tauride...., the entrance to the beach is often locked ( had to go through the neighboring beach), there is no information about the temperature of the water and air. the beach bus driver smokes in the cabin. after the sea smell of nicotine. interior is not cleaned. there is no water in mini-reservoirs. the fountain was almost never turned on. appointment of procedures with large intervals. you have to choose between the sea and treatment.
