Rested in June 2008. The first impression of Julian's hotel is good. The room was received immediately and in general is very decent: everything is clean, tidy: the room is standard; view of the household block and the park; in the room there is an entrance hall and the room itself ~ 20 m2; refrigerator, air conditioning, TV worked well; new furniture on the floor in the room carpet; bed linen is new. Towels were changed almost every day and cleaned well. Plumbing serviceable and modern. (Our neighbors in the same room smelled terribly of sewerage and plumbing is much worse than in our room). It was nice that I booked a room by phone in the month of May and the administrator didn’t even require an advance payment (the site indicates an advance payment of 30%) - I believed it on my word of honor. We arrived on June 18, there were few vacationers in the hotel. The weather is fine. Warm sea. The swimming pool at the hotel allowed to refresh after a day's walks from the sea to the hotel. My child loved to swim and dive in it. (True, as soon as we arrived home, an allergic rhinitis-chlorine appeared). Now for the cons. 1) BEACH - a nightmare - a small filthy strip, silt and midges everywhere. The beach workers were not going to clean it. We had passes to the beach. There were a lot of people as this beach was for everyone. But we always came before 9 o'clock in the morning, so there was a place. 2) The road to the beach passed through the park and everything would be fine if the wonderful Crimean air (which we actually came for) would not be gassed by cars scurrying through this park everywhere. We dined at the Anyuta cafe (it's right on the beach - very convenient) not expensive and at home. 3) I never ate in Julian, I can’t say anything. But the prices there go off scale beyond all reasonable limits. Mineral water 0.5l at the reception 50 rubles. 4) The pool is great, but the lack of umbrellas is a serious flaw in the administration and there were not always enough sun loungers - this is in June that month, and what can we say about the high season! And outsiders were sunbathing by the pool - vacationers from the nearest private sector. This is not entirely pleasant, especially with a lack of sun loungers. And finally, "horrors": in our room there were all the time the sounds of gnashing behind the closet in the hallway, and the day before our departure a rat ran out!! ! THAT was enough for me. The hotel worker, who was catching the rat, reassured us that this was due to the construction of a new building nearby and that she had come running through the balcony. But that doesn't make it any easier for me. I don’t have a foot in Juliana anymore, just like in Yevpatoria in general. So I do not advise you to go to Juliana. Not because of the rat, of course, but because of the general impression after. Thanks to everyone who read and good luck in choosing a place to stay.
