Rested with my daughter in Evpatoria 3 times. For the first time, in 2005 we rested on a voucher in the children's sanatorium "Tavrida" (shared the voucher for two). Everything was good, except for the food. No variety, almost every day a tasteless cutlet or meatball, the same cold pasta stuck together for a side dish, they never gave potatoes ! , fresh vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers) - in small pieces, as if stolen. And this is in late August - early September! We specially bought all this in the market and the prices are ridiculous! I don’t understand why ordinary CHEAP vegetables were in short supply in our canteen... And I felt sorry for those children and teenagers who rested without their mothers, i. e. - in the detachment, and were forced to eat incomprehensible, tasteless, non-caloric food. Then we saw them constantly chewing some kind of buns or hot dogs...
Everything else is more or less normal. My daughter and I lived in a double room on the 1st floor. There are specially 2 and 3-bed rooms for children with parents. All other children live on the other floors in large wards for 6-8 people.
My daughter received treatment and very worthy. I want to say that the doctors in the sanatorium are attentive, they prescribed all possible procedures: massage, mud applications, hydromassage, inhalations, physiotherapy exercises, etc. But again, all this was possible rather because I, mother, was with the child.

We really liked our beach. I deliberately walked along the entire promenade and came to the conclusion that our beach is the best. This is a private beach, it is only for the sanatorium "Tavrida". There are no "strangers", there are no ticket offices for paid entrance. There really is no way to persuade the guard to let you through, unless you are from Tavrida. But you can't bring food to the beach! We ourselves, out of ignorance, ate our buns outside the gates and only then they let us in. And you know, I liked this approach! And local "walkers" do not walk along the beach itself with corn, fish, pasties, baklava, etc. For them there is a taboo. And this is unquestioningly fulfilled! There are enough sunbeds for everyone, there is good sun protection, there is a very clean beach, it is very free there and no one walks on the heads, there is a shower, toilet, drinking water, a health worker works.
Sea and air in September - just a fairy tale! We just got lucky with the weather. The locals said they don't remember such a mild and warm September. In general, we had a good rest then. My daughter did not get bored, she got acquainted with other children from the sanatorium. As a result, our number very often resembled a collection point before a disco or competitions. I'm no stranger to being a teacher myself. Next time I will tell you how we rested in Evpatoria the year before last and last summer.
