My first surprise was that the mattresses were all orthopedic! And the wi-fi turned out to be free, although the site wrote about paid Internet. And the rest began... The food is excellent. We tried both the free menu and the complex menu. Everything is very tasty and not expensive. When we were delayed from the sea, they specially waited for us, only then they covered us so that everything was hot. My son had a lot of friends, he only came to the room to sleep. Owners big RESPECT. Well done. Everything is on the level. This is the perfect time to say thank you for your hard work!

Gromovo itself is a godforsaken village. The roads around are bad, have not seen repairs for a long time. The houses are dilapidated. Surprisingly, everything in the boarding house is clean, green, comfortable, thought out to the smallest detail. The contrast is complete. We lived for 15 days in a SUITE 2 room. The rooms are large and well maintained. Bamboo furniture, very unusual and original. We hardly watched TV, but the fridge with freezer and air conditioning helped out a lot. The mattresses are really hard, but they quickly got used to it and did not even notice the discomfort. The room was cleaned by ourselves, but our neighbors were cleaned on demand.
They cook deliciously and with imagination. Chef girls try and listen to the wishes and requests. Do not believe anyone that small portions. Even a child's portion can be eaten by an adult. At first, we ate in the dining room, but then we asked and they served us in front of our room. It is very comfortable. When we left for the whole day in Yevpatoriya and Sevastopol, we were given money back for food.
There is no internet on site. Take your modem with you. I have an MTS connection. The signal is normal, but not stable. The neighbors had PeopleNet - it worked fine.
The light went out a couple of times. Once during a thunderstorm, all night. Given only in the morning. The second time - for about three hours, there was a strong wind.
The water is always hot and cold. True, when all people returned from the beach at the same time, there was not enough hot water. But after 20-30 minutes the water was hot again.
The sea is far away - about 2 km. Sometimes we went on foot for a change (I timed it for 22 minutes), but mostly by car. Moreover, almost every day we went to different beaches.
Parking on site is free.
There is no entertainment in Gromovo itself, we went to Chernomorskoye (18 km) and Evpatoria (64 km) to the water park. I advise you to visit Sevastopol, and along the way Bakhchisarai.
After I returned to work, a week passed and I realized what a wonderful vacation it was. Got bored. Was good. So I sat down to write a review and remember the summer...

The beds are very hard (they saved a lot on mattresses). Portions are twice as small as shown in the pictures from the site. And yes, a relaxing holiday.

I was looking for reviews about hotels in Egypt and was glad to see that the THUNDER SEA is also on TURPRAVDA. I've been here for three years now - I love it! Every season something gets better. It's interesting to come and see the changes. Well done, what can I say!

Two years in a row we rested in Okunevka. Everything was fine, but with the advent of the child, the Okunev beach ceased to suit us. It is rocky and quite steep. We decided to explore the surroundings and ended up in Gromovo. Sandy beach, clear blue sea, just like the Blue Lagoon. We settled in the Thunder Sea Hotel, it was advised to us from a local store, and we didn’t regret it at all.

All in bamboo style, I have not seen this yet. In June, there are few people and everyone with children, my son had someone to play with. We lived in a suite with amenities (shower, toilet, hot water, air conditioning, TV) and ordered 2 meals a day.
Well, the food is very tasty, the menu is varied, and not just dumplings and pasta, as it was in Okunevka. The owners are nice people, responsive and understanding. By the way, I often heard how people were unhappy with the fact that the beach is far away. Yes, not right next door, but we went by car, it's 2 minutes. We walked once on foot - 20 minutes, well, in order to unwind - what you need : )
In general, we really liked it. Quiet, calm, not expensive, but comfortable.

Calm, clean, comfortable. Everything is as described and photographed on the site. The food is excellent. Tasty and inexpensive. Large portions. Even children's. But the most important thing is the chic sea and almost no people. Rarity. We'll go again next year.

everything fits the description as on the hotel website. Only sometimes there was not enough hot water for everyone who came from the sea faster, so there was enough (too small boiler). The food was delicious, home-made, but there were never any fish. Portions are large. One big minus is solid beds. The water is good, from its well.
