Crimea walks
Our trip around the Crimea began with the passage of the Sivash salt lakes, which are famous for their healing properties. It left an indelible impression of the sprawling bright white salt lakes. Then, having passed Simferopol, the vicinity of Yalta, we ended up in the city of Alupka, where we settled, so to speak, a camp for further movements. First of all, we visited the famous Vorontsov Palace and a very beautiful park attached to it, which contains the richest collection of rare species of plants and trees. Then, of course, we stopped at Mount Ai-Petri, local drivers offer a ride to the mountain with a visit to the Uchan-Su waterfall (translated as flying water) and fascinating comments along the way for only 50 UAH per person. Upstairs we visited two small caves, rode ATVs, by the way, they are cheaper upstairs than in Yalta and its environs, we ate at a local cafe, they cook delicious lamb skewers.
After a day of rest on the local Alupka beach, combined with eating crabs, shrimp and other marine life, we went west, starting from the Simeiz water park, driving along Mount Koshka, looking at the Foros church, we reached Balaklava. A very interesting excursion to the adits, where earlier, under the Soviet Union, there was a secret base for the repair of submarines (entry 25 UAH).
In Balaklava you can ride a boat, they take you to the open sea, where you can meet dolphins and swim.
In general, the nature of the Crimea is very beautiful, mountains, sea, forests.
But it is not encouraging that Crimea is becoming more and more expensive every year. Roughly speaking, you have to pay for each path. What will happen next?...
