In August, I, my wife and two-year-old daughter rested in Beregovoy in the Solnechny boarding house in a standard 2-3-bed room (so I will talk about it, and not about suites and 2-room suites). If we talk about the rest in general, then, of course, it’s not bad, but there were problems (primarily related to the rest with a child), of course. I would like to say separately about the boarding house and about Beregovoy itself.
So, the boarding house as a whole deserves a fairly high rating. It is located, of course, not by the sea itself, but in 4-5 minutes of a leisurely walk it was possible to walk (with my daughter it came out a little more, because her movement depended, first of all, on what she would see, and not on what where we are going to go). In any case, the way to the sea did not "strain". It was worse with markets and shops: they were far enough from the boarding house.
So, the advantages:
1. Spacious rooms
2. Good food for adults.
3. Low price (for this level)

4. Friendly staff (although very busy with work, but this does not affect the quality of services)
5. Not noisy, there are no discos in the area.
Disadvantages (I’ll say right away that they are very minor, do not make the rest unacceptable)
1. There are no tables in the room (although there is more than enough space to place them). Summer in Crimea is generally warm, so fruits and water are needed not only at lunch (dinner). You can, of course, go outside, but sometimes you don’t want to leave the room. However, it is possible that they are trying to accustom vacationers "not to break away" from the team. However, it can be inconvenient with a child, you have to use a window sill, cabinets and a floor.
2. The TV in the room does not receive Russian channels (it does in the lobby), probably for the same purpose : ) However, this does not "annoy" either: Crimean and some Ukrainian channels work in Russian part of the time (only you cannot find Russian advertising , but who needs it : ) ), and on Chernomorka at 18:00 they rebroadcast the program "Today" from NTV.
3. Meals are focused only on adults and children over 5 years old, for small children you have to "seek out" less spicy pieces and supplement them in the room (which, as I said, is difficult) or at the tables (the kitchen, of course, is for chefs, but their food in the refrigerator and reheat in the microwave, as a rule, allow).
4. There is a lake near the boarding house, so from 19:30 mosquitoes begin to pester the street (they are not observed there during the day). They penetrate the room slightly (especially in comparison with Russian villages), but sometimes it makes sense to turn on the fumigator. However, this should not be done every day and not all night.
In any case, for those who do not really like to walk at night and have been in the forest in Russia at least once in the summer, mosquitoes will not be a problem.
Now about the outskirts of Beregovoe
Pros:

1. Relatively few people on the beach (even at the height of the season it was not difficult to find 5-6 m^2 for yourself on the beach, regardless of the time of day)
2. The beach is relatively clean
3. Not noisy
Now the disadvantages:
1. It is very difficult to leave for Feodosia (buses are full) before lunch. At lunchtime it is difficult to come to Beregovoye. On the other hand, in the morning you can go to Primorsky (from where it is easier to get on the bus, but the ride is noticeably longer).
2. There are not many good entries on the beach, although this is also not a big problem: you can enter along the algae "carpet", but this is not for the picky. However, there are 3 entrances not far from the boarding house.
3. The shell-and-sand beach is not very convenient.
4. There is a road not far from the beach, cars are audible (if this noise bothers anyone). The well-known "scarecrow" about the difficulty of crossing this road is slightly exaggerated: you can always cross the road, at most, you will have to wait 1-2 minutes, in cities the traffic is much busier.
5. The infrastructure of Beregovoe is not well developed: the market is not close, there are no supermarkets, ordinary shops, few ATMs (I found only one in the center). However, there are entertainments: the daughter all the time asked to ride "on a swan" or crawl "in a crawler" (the so-called "Fidget" complex, where the most difficult thing for a small child is to get out of it).
It seems that we had enough rest, although, of course, the wife and child would like to get out somewhere. But these are our problems.
