Parking a car in a garage (by the way, booked in advance) does not necessarily imply the possibility of using your car whenever you want - the cars are one after another and the valet is forced to look for another car owner. The administration considers that these are "valet parking problems" (this is a quote), forgetting that it is she who reserves the parking spaces.
2. Intrusive service of cleaners - upon check-in, we were notified that the room was cleaned only if you put the appropriate sign on the door, in reality, several times around 9.00 in the morning we were woken up (sleeping according to the schedule? ) with a proposal to clean the room.
3. Water for washing and shower - the temperature "jumps" all the time.
4. The wonderful smell of the sea (building No. 4) sometimes interfered with the not always wonderful smell from the kitchen, because the air extract of the kitchen is located almost opposite the windows.
5. In the descriptions on the website of 2-room suites, it is "modestly" silent that one of the rooms has no windows.
6. When you check in, the Administration requires you to leave a deposit (document or money! ) Is this a manifestation of distrust towards customers? Apparently, yes. This fact is not very consistent with European standards.

Also, it is not as crowded there as on the central embankment, which also makes it possible to protect yourself from the worldly fuss that bothers in cities. But along with all this - this place is not cut off from civilization, the center is within easy reach, and there you will find a market and shops and all kinds of entertainment and entertainment venues.
The hotel itself is very cozy and unusual! It does not have standard corridors and floors, the rooms are "scattered" around the territory and looking at the boarding house from the embankment you can't immediately say that it accommodates so many rooms, a very cozy cafe and two swimming pools. The hotel area is like an oasis, just as green and blooming with an artificial stream. The view from the balconies is just amazing! What bliss to look at the sea, sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Another, not significant, but pleasant moment (for me personally), a squirrel came to visit us on the balcony.
As for the service, of course there is room to grow, but against the background of all the other advantages, it seemed to me not significant and, by and large, there was nothing that would spoil the mood. Simply, the impression was that the staff had not yet "swinged", while we were not denied a single request.

When booking a room, they promised a warm pool (since we were traveling with a child, and the sea was +17 in early May), which became a fundamental factor when choosing a hotel (there were other options)
As a result, the pool was cold all week. The administration responded to complaints that they always measure the temperature in the pool and it is 20 degrees. But 20 degrees is very cold water for the pool!! ! They replied that they constantly pour hot water into it. In general, everyone knows that the water in the pool should be 25-27 degrees. (for example, Olympic pools are 22 degrees, but this is for athletes and records). As a result, the pool warmed up to our county. (and child
swam in it once)
The next minus is the kitchen. (it seems that they have changed the chef since our last visit to them)
It’s easy to check - they ordered CAESAR (the cost is like that of Caesar, but the execution is disgusting, it seems that the chef ate this salad only on Alushta embankment in an eatery, the sauce doesn’t match, the chicken is smoked, a pinch of iceberg, and a couple of leaves of the usual lettuce) Everything else is typical for Crimean cafes. But there is a plus - they know how to cook buckwheat and rice, also good chicken cutlets, and of course a standard vegetable salad (it is impossible to spoil), i. e. The kids always have something to eat there.
Also striking was the strange work of the waiters. Sometimes they just don't exist. Or, if they are, they are not always in a hurry to approach you. For example, we arrived in the evening, went to a restaurant after a long trip (this was on the day of arrival). Sat down - no waiters. I approached the administrator - I asked if the kitchen was working, they answered yes. We sat for a while, no one was there. He went down to the kitchen, asked the chef if they were working, he replied that yes, of course, all the waiters were in place. In general, we sat for another 20 minutes, then the child got nervous and we went to the room. (It's good that we had food with us on the road).
The same situations were in the morning, the waiters need to drink coffee : ). (but we did not wait more than 10 minutes)
In general, the result, although there are disadvantages, but in comparison with other Crimean places, this is still normal and you can go there. Just simply set yourself up in advance that this is all the same Crimea. And there can be no question of any miracle service. Then no one will spoil your holiday mood.

Very nice hotel. An ideal place to relax. Alushta is a noisy city, many tourists and just hellish karaoke on the embankment, but in the Professor's Corner (where the hotel is located) it is quiet and calm. As such, you don’t feel the buildings inside this courtyard, there are stairs and entrances to the rooms all around, but everything is so interestingly decorated. Very polite, good staff, the girls at the reception are just wonderful. The room was cleaned every day, the room is chic, a lot of lockers, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator. Very large balcony with sun loungers where you can sunbathe or just relax. There is no private beach, but according to the cards of the boarding house, the entrance to the beach opposite the boarding house (in my opinion belongs to Chaika) is free. In general, a very cozy place, we all really, really liked it !!! ! Of the minuses: the children are bored there, although many were with children, and from our balcony the view was slightly spoiled by the roofs of other buildings.
