Students. We were in Magnolia at the end of August.
There are no complaints about the hotel itself. Room (ordinary double) - a solid three stars, cleaning, towels, air conditioning, refrigerator - everything is fine. Territory, building - everything is excellent. The horror begins when you are going to go out to eat or go to the beach.
The buffet selection is to die for. If you're lucky, they will bring out chopped cucumbers and tomatoes, ordinary mashed potatoes or buckwheat for dinner. But mostly I had to choose from several mayonnaise salads and a bunch of fried very salty and peppery dishes. For those who watch their diet, there is practically nothing to do there. By the way, on the fourth day I was poisoned by some kind of potato with a strange gravy (peppered-peppered). I went to the doctor the next morning in the same boarding house and for free, they treated me carefully. Dessert is a different story altogether. Milipizdricheskie buns and biscuits cut into tiny pieces, shortbread cookies - this was very little and not enough for everyone. For breakfast - pancakes and pancakes of dubious freshness. Didn't even find oatmeal on the water. I was pleased at least with the presence of yogurt and kefir (but this was not enough for everyone).

Next up is the beach. The beach is a forty minute walk or ten minutes by bus (they run on schedule, no complaints, but people are packed). It's possible to get there, but it's not worth it. The beach simply does not adequately accommodate so many people. Everyone sits on each other's heads, places need to be taken, it seems that before breakfast. If you are unlucky and arrive with the last batch of people, you will have to sit right by the smoking room with a toilet. There are sheds, but, again, the places under them are occupied by the earliest ones. Walking along the beach without shoes is problematic because of the pebbles. There are no sun loungers. Left-wing people are also allowed in for money (although they won’t fit their own anywhere! ).
An alternative to the beach is the pool, which pleased me the most during my vacation. Clean, shallow, sun loungers, umbrellas, few people, there is enough space for everyone.
As a bonus to everything - a strange stench throughout the boarding house from the street every other day and the insane hum of the air conditioner from the room below ours, which did not let us sleep (at the reception they treated this with understanding and offered to move to one of the neighboring rooms without any problems). In general, there are no complaints about the staff. Both the reception and the maids are pleasant in communication, they will always help.
But we won't go back for anything.
