Upon my return, after reading the reviews about this hotel again, I realized that I did not pay attention to the negative reviews and all sorts of little things. Everyone thought that some kind of harmful people look at life with prejudice. But in vain. Among all written, the most important and unpleasant is the location of the hotel, its remoteness from the sea. I saw somewhere, the girl wrote "the legs let us down. " Three times ha - there you can not only pump up the legs, but also tear your heart and ruin your vacation. And also visit the emergency room in the city of Yalta, which we did on the first day of rest. The road to the sea runs through an abandoned park - in such a park you can make films about maniacs without surroundings)). First you need to go down 90 steps, then down the park, then down the winding road all the time, then the killer iron staircase awaits. We go down to the beach along it. The steps at the stairs are located far from each other, so at a height of five meters you have to cling to the handrails and not look down. There is another entry to the beach there, along wooden walkways, but it is far from Cedar and the bus station. Return back along the same road, only all the time up, in the heat. We went to the beach only in the morning or only in the evening, because going there twice a day is hellish hell. I don’t know who wrote that not everything is so scary with the rise - maybe it was the athletes who wrote? Rainbow Beach is the closest, it is narrow, maximum people lie in two rows, one row right under the mountain. On the beach, pebbles mixed with stones, mud, gobies, dried corn cobs. By the way, the corn is delicious, it costs 80 rubles. There are several sunbeds on the beach, the struggle for which is not a joke, one sunbed costs 50 rubles a day. A unkempt beach, what to say, all the sunbeds are gouged, and they will not get it. What are the designated smoking areas? Someone posted this in a review. All the places are allotted there)) I saw only one urn. There are large boulders in the sea and if you swim without slippers, it is easy to beat off your legs and toenails, some boulders are covered with algae and slippery. It is especially inconvenient when it is stormy, and it often storms. For several days we didn’t go to the beach at all, there was a strong storm. During the storm, boulders and a concrete slab washed ashore, I think it will lie there for a long time. There is no one to take care of the beach.
Now about the hotel itself. The rooms are renovated, the furniture is Ikeevskaya, there is a laminate on the floor, there is a refrigerator. On the balcony, a plastic table and two chairs are barely squeezed in. I had a room on the fourth floor overlooking the bushes. The room is small. He may be 14 meters, but everything is back to back, it seems the kitchen is larger at home. The TV set is tiny, often ripples, but there are a lot of programs. Housekeeping is good, everything is clean. The maid is friendly and pleasant. They clean, as already mentioned, every three days, on the fourth, then they change the bed. Foot towels are changed every day and the trash is taken out. Squirrels are jumping around the territory, so cool, nimble. Only for the camera - they were gone.
The night at the hotel starts right after dinner. There is darkness and silence. You can't make noise. Orders in the hotel camp. Those. You feel like you are in a pioneer camp. A wonderful-looking security guard-pioneer leader walks around the territory and controls who goes to bed at what time and conducts conversations about the dangers of smoking. If you go up to the roof, where the tables are, it's right there. He controls who sits, how he sits, what he drinks and how much, what they talk about, you need to talk in a whisper, children are strictly forbidden to laugh after 23.00. You can’t smoke on the balcony, a fine of a hundred thousand - his words. Where this number comes from is unknown. I wonder where he goes when women carry their suitcases upstairs themselves? But tongue scratching is easier than helping.

The mattress in the room is hard. It may be useful, but it is uncomfortable to sleep. Springs are felt on all sides. Hearing is lousy. The air conditioner on the opposite side of the bed, if turned on, blows straight into the head and nothing can be done. The balcony was opened. The door must be supported so that it does not close. The conversations of neighbors, squeaks and screams of children, coughing - all this is heard, as if everything is happening in your room. You won't be able to sleep after dinner. In the morning you wake up with the early kids, at half past seven. Down the corridor, if someone passes by - a roar. Everything is somehow crowded, the balconies are side by side (that’s why you can’t smoke, it’s understandable), the walls are thin, telephone conversations are heard by everyone. We have to adjust to the children's schedule. Get up at seven, at nine "Good night" and sleep. Here is a pioneer camp for you. You can’t sit with wine in the evening, you can’t talk, you can’t laugh - everyone can hear everything. Hence the silence in the evening in the hotel, everyone is talking in a whisper.
The price includes breakfast, but it's not. For example: semolina casserole with minced meat inside - it's not possible to eat. Or scrambled eggs, but they are dry. Or mashed potatoes. Cottage cheese casserole. Chicken cutlet and coleslaw. I don’t remember further, but the menu is designed for a week, then it repeats. The meals are very tasty. I can’t forget borscht with donuts, okroshka, chicken soup with noodles at home, pilaf - everything is very tasty. A little friendliness would not hurt the chefs. But, on the other hand, do they have to smile and say hello to everyone? )) Sometimes it was inconvenient to come to eat, they all look like “all sorts of people walk here, they interfere with sleep. ” The cost of lunch is 250 rubles per person. Dinner can be ordered from the menu, but we didn't go. Nearby there is a cafe "Veterok" - you can have dinner there, the cost is about 1000 rubles for two. You can walk into the city center. Center is one thing. Walk not far, 10-15 minutes. Through an eerie-looking abandoned sanatorium. In the center there is a restaurant "Karamba" - good, but expensive. You can't eat there economically, that's for sure. There are a lot of cafes there, they make pilaf on the street, they fry something... Economically, these are street eateries where you don’t want to go at all. Everyone will choose something suitable for themselves. There is nowhere else at the station besides Veterok. Something was closed, something was in the process of opening at that time. There are shops at the station, tents with various souvenirs.
In the evening, when darkness sets in, there are places where you cannot pass without a flashlight. Or without an iPhone)) In short, whoever has something, turn it on, it's very dark, you can't see anything at all except the stars.
We went on excursions through An-Tur - Bakhchisaray, Livadia and Massandra palaces. They themselves took a taxi and went to the Swallow's Nest - it cost 1000 rubles both ways, the driver was waiting. We also went with a driver to Ai-Petri and back, and there we went up on the cable car. The beauty. Buses were running, but crowded. I did not dare to ride in them. But people went, someone is fine. Excursions are well organized, everything is interesting.

In general, Crimea is beautiful, but I won’t go again. Maybe I chose the wrong place, mountainous. It's kind of abandoned. There is still a lot to invest in to put in order. Repair roads, fix steps, improve parks, clean beaches. Nature, mountains, sea views from the mountains - it's great, but that's all. The sea is dirty, who wrote that it is clean? Waves bring some garbage. If in the morning it is still clean, after an hour it is already cloudy, something is floating. Unpleasant.
In total, the trip cost me and my daughter 100.000 rubles for two weeks at the beginning of August 2015. Plane tickets 24.000 round trip Moscow-Simferopol-Moscow, accommodation 32.000, the rest was spent on excursions, transfers and trips. When planning finances, I advise you to count on 3000 per day for two people, no less. Everything is very unreasonably expensive. The price-quality ratio suffers.
