But about the hotel. The price is just super, the room is excellent, everything you need is there, the location couldn’t be better, everything is nearby. Of course, the corridors require repairs and there is a spirit of the scoop, but this is not scary at all, because the spirit of the “good old” scoop, which no longer exists in Latvia, has returned to the good memories of childhood. I only took breakfast, because in Truskavets there is a huge selection of everything at very reasonable prices.
Breakfast was quite enough, and they also resembled Sovok, like different porridges, but I ate with pleasure (although I never ate at home), I also remembered my youth and pioneer camp. There were all sorts of pancakes and sausage and cheese and omelettes and chicken cutlets and salads. For this price it’s quite decent. You can’t expect 5-star food for a couple of euros. By the way, the choice of hotels in all price categories is huge.
The service staff is very kind, everyone was extremely attentive and always ready to help, just all kindness itself. Thank you very much. They also give you a card for a free set of mineral water, which is very convenient and helpful! Special thanks.
About the examinations, there is a dental office right in the hotel, everything is fine, the rest is in the Med Palace. They say that prices there are higher than elsewhere in Truskavets, but I compared them with Latvia and the EU, everything was at least 3-5 times cheaper, the quality may even be higher than ours.
For example, I would only be able to see a cardiologist when I had heart problems, and I would have to wait a long time. In the medical palace for 25 euros there was a full examination, this also applies, for example, to all kinds of tests, for example to identify primary signs of cancer.
I’ll keep silent about all kinds of Spa procedures; for those living in the EU, the prices are simply like a gift with the highest quality. The doctors and staff themselves are very kind, and although I already understand Ukrainian, for my convenience they spoke Russian to me (better than I do). Special thanks for this, because language has nothing to do with it, it’s just a means of communication. But I really hope that over time I will speak Ukrainian too : ).
What else can I recommend, in the hotel 365, there are excellent lunches nearby, a buffet, 150 hryvnia, you can try many dishes, and the hotel itself also looks very presentable. Without a doubt, everything there is of a European level, but I also inquired about the cost - two and three times more expensive than Vesna.
So there are no miracles, the only difference is the price.
For a budget trip and quality at this price, Spring is quite suitable and I really have the kindest memories
We are very upset and can't leave because we have nowhere to live.
I do not recommend!
I highly recommend going to the Veranda restaurant (16 Roksolani Street). Delicacies. Friendly staff. Chefs and bartenders are professionals.
The rooms are standard without any renovation, old beds, shabby wallpaper, a balcony on which it is scary to even lean out, due to antiquity. The dining room is also from Soviet times, the food also seems to be from there. In the season of fresh vegetables and fruits that had already appeared, there was only boiled beetroot, boiled carrots, that's all. Soups are all water with potatoes, I understand that they are dietary, but boil a mountain of potatoes in water and serve it like soup, this is already too much. No casseroles like cottage cheese or with fruit, as they always had a rest, there is only pasta, offal and jelly. Even the so-called uzvar was declared, but in fact it was not. Terrible, not food.
Well, a separate topic is a woman working at the reception named Maria, a rude, boorish person who absolutely does not know her duties. Do not expect any help there, they will not explain anything to you and will not even convey information on accommodation. Already from the cleaning lady at check-in, we learned that some chosen ones are given several options for rooms to choose from, but this Maria kept us busy for three hours. When we arrived, a woman was leaving, who was very angry at this hotel, if I may say so, and screamed that she didn’t go there anymore. A good indication of what this underhotel is.
I do not advise you to throw money away and spoil your nerves, you will not see there the picture that flaunts on their website.
eggs. Saithe fish with bones. I'm talking about the first one. Horror, not food.
They are fed according to the "buffet" system, the usual dietary, but quite tasty food. There was always enough food, and if something ran out, they immediately brought it to the request to take food to the room of the sick child, they answered positively, only to take it out in their own container.
Very convenient location, the pump room is a stone's throw away, the market is not far away.
And yet, do not take treatment at the Medpalas, everything is very expensive there, (if only you are rich) go on your own to polyclinic No. 2, near the upper pump room, pay 50 UAH for an appointment at the reception with a doctor and she will prescribe all the procedures you want and you will pass them. Prices can be viewed on their website.
If you book a ticket to Vesna, then book on their official website, then they will give you a discount upon arrival, you do not need to pay an advance payment. Very comfortable and pleasant.
The nannies in the children's room are very good and the kids always come back with crafts and a desire to come back the next day
We took the cheapest Standard room, everything suited us, they cleaned it, and when we asked for one more blanket, they brought it right away. Cleaning every day, towels every 3 days.
From the pros:
1. Diet food (all three weeks are the same).
2. Close location of the pump room.
3. Polite workers (unless they themselves are forced to correct their oversights).
Of the minuses:
1. Inconsistency of the proposed procedures with reality: half of them simply do not exist! The arrangement of procedures is as follows: only three procedures are selected per day, their cost is included in the package. However, the hotel website does not say that two of them must be obtained at the hotel itself and only the third will be provided by the medical center at the Mirotel hotel. Unfortunately, even with two overlay procedures - you can choose only one of them, since the second mandatory procedure, even if you refuse, is oxygen foam, the cost of which is 10/20 hryvnia. This procedure will be forcibly added to your tariff! For some reason, there is not a word about this on the hotel website!
2. Be prepared for the fact that when changing plans: changing the time of procedures, adding other procedures to the treatment plan, for refusing or exchanging procedures, you will have to pay 20 hryvnia each time. You will learn about this only at the hotel itself, when you decide to change something in the schedule. Why there is no information about this on the site is not clear.
3. Despite the fact that the hotel rules clearly state that smoking is prohibited in the rooms and on the balconies, everyone who wants to smoke is quite calm. If you decide to enjoy the fresh mountain air, you will not succeed. Requests to influence the situation by the hotel administration are ignored! The smell of tobacco will be invisible, but very noticeable to fill your room day and night. You have to stay in a room with a closed balcony, and in the heat it will be terrible!
4. If you decide to take a break from daytime activities at night, then this is a problem! Nightlife is in full swing until midnight (there are discos in the hotel opposite until 24.00, and this is every night). The hotel guests also do not stand on ceremony, and after getting drunk, they arrange races one after another in a half-dressed state along the corridor and floors, accompanying the run with a shout. Unfamiliar young people invited to the hotel do not lag behind them. Apparently, the meaning of the word sanatorium is associated with the concepts of debauchery, rudeness and arrogance. Where the hotel security is looking is also a big secret! Oddly enough, they are at their post only during the day, when everything is calm anyway.
5. At the entrance to the canteen, information will be displayed that it is forbidden to enter it in street clothes, take out food, etc. The order is set to follow the employee of the hotel. As I understand it, her function is limited only to finding out the number of a person's room (although not everyone informs her about this). Otherwise, everyone wears what they want and does what they want in the dining room. The rules don't work here!
If you decide to rest and get medical treatment in Truskavets, then you should think about whether such torments as sleepless nights are necessary (for all three weeks we could not sleep, and it was not possible to leave earlier because of plane tickets), missed procedures and irresponsible attitude administration to guests. It is worth paying a little more for rooms in another hotel, but really get everything you came for.
I am very sorry that in the past such a good hotel is turning into a run-down hotel, aimed only at making money with minimal return.
We are very disappointed with the quality of service of this hotel.
