Very beautiful everywhere (both in the rooms and in the lobby) expensive wallpaper, curtains, drapes, furniture are all made in one style - well done. Neighbors through the walls are not heard (are the neighbors quiet? ). The orthopedic mattress did not cause any inconvenience. I did not feel the difference between him and the usual. The living room has a kettle and water, brewed tea all the time; there is an ironing board and free umbrellas in the lobby. About Truskavets itself: a stunning exposition by Mykhailo Bilas in the Bilas Museum (next to the hotel) - I spent 2 hours there, as if fascinated by each of his masterpieces. It was very interesting to go to the Museum of the History of Truskavets - many historical facts and times of the Galicia-Volyn principality, Western Ukraine, the First and Second World, prominent figures, many outstanding exhibits and household and military, and others. This is also next to the pump room.
I ate in the "Grand Dining Room", also nearby, there is a comprehensive diet, you can eat from the belly - and the first and second with meat or fish, and salad, and compote / tea with a bun. Breakfast - 31 UAH, lunch - 35, dinner - 31. Was in other cafes and restaurants - and worse. and more expensive, and all the clothes fail for a long time - it's a shame. Within 15 minutes walk from the hotel there is a large shopping center "Furshet", there is a decent supermarket, and pieces of everything (including expensive branded) three floors, and cafes. So, there is a confectionery "Veronica" - delicious chocolate cakes, pastries, ice cream. Probably only Lviv Chocolate Workshop is analogous. And they are expensive. But it is justified! About Naftus: in the hospital near the hotel you can make an appointment with a therapist - a good doctor - to tell what hurts, he will look and write when to drink some water. Admission costs 50 hryvnias. It is also worth going to Lviv for a tour - a wonderful city.
At the same time, I got into ballet at the Lviv Opera - great! The ticket cost 35 hryvnias. Have a good rest / treatment!
Thanks to all the staff of the hotel "Old Vienna" for a comfortable stay!
About the hotel. Impression is good, but:
1) travel by car to the hotel only because of the violation of the signs "traffic only to the left" and should be directly into the pedestrian zone, and then in general under the "brick". When we asked for a permit, we were told that we did not have a permit and, accordingly, if the traffic police caught us, we (drivers) could be prosecuted for violating traffic rules;
2) the car was left in the parking lot 200-300 meters near another hotel for 10 hryvnias. day;
3) roads in Truskavets are terrible, except for the section near the city hall, even worse roads in Borylav, Skhidnytsia, Slavske (but this is not the fault of the hotel);
4) room without air conditioning (although it was needed only 1 day);
5) towels are changed only when you leave them on the floor, you learned about it from the cleaners;
6) the bed was not changed for 10 days, cleaned daily, a roll of toilet paper was left not daily, but as it is used, given that it is cleaned in the morning, it could end at an unnecessary time;
7) hair dryer, soap, shampoo, toothbrush and a little toothpaste, comb, safe razor with shaving cream is available, and shower caps - no. Bathrobe - one. The sink is angular and very small, so it is very inconvenient to wash, there is no shelf in the shower, the soap dish is glass and you need to pour water out of it so that the soap does not sour, the urn is not very easy to use and not enough, wet towels because it does not have a normal towel holder;
8) mirror only near the sink (preferably another large one on the wall or in the closet and a small one - portable, only 4 hangers in the closet, clothes can be ironed only at the bottom, iron - normal, but the board is not very (it's time to change the coating) things, you need to take coat hangers in the closet in the room, which hangs other clothes, offered the services of a woman who can wash things, wash themselves, but to dry clothes - inconvenient, complex portable dryer was not enough;
9) there were dishes, but there was no salt shaker, toothpicks, napkins were not added, there is no socket for an electric kettle either (either the lamp or the refrigerator was turned off);
10) there was no telephone in the room (although it is not very necessary, but if you need to call the city or ask something from the administrator (you need to go down to the 1st floor);
11) the quality of Internet access is not checked, forgot the computer at home, probably for the better;
12) the door to the balcony does not open completely, because the plinth interferes;
13) the hotel has the opportunity to have breakfast and lunch, but you must pre-order, which is not always convenient.
There are no complaints about the staff, but I want to receive information about all services in words and be able to leave wishes about the room, for example, for me the pillows in the hotel are too small, and the administrator offered us extra pillows only a day later. Moreover, I also don't want to spend my time queuing with the administrator to find out what we are entitled to and what we are not.
For those who do not want to be tied to the pump room with Naftusa, you should stock up on thermoses (it would be good if they were in the hotel like umbrellas). The hotel does not have a device for measuring blood pressure, many people need to monitor its level when taking water, electronic scales to control the weight loss process (which was very much hoped for) would not hurt.
MedPalace is nearby, but the organization of work is below nowhere (taking into account the cost of services). Computers are there only for the entourage, and I have concerns about the non-dissemination and misuse of the information they know. To get a referral for analysis, you at least twice stand in line at the registrar and twice at the box office. You will be asked at least three times the same information, which seems to have been entered into the computer (for the fourth time in my year I was asked when they took blood and recorded the data in the barn book). Blood is taken from a vein with thick needles, in the morning a simple adhesive plaster with cotton wool is made (for such money you can allocate UAH 1 for a breathable plaster).
How to drink water (fast, slow, large, small sips, which should be a reaction to water intake), the therapist did not tell, although 40 minutes was the reception.
Furshet is still working in Truskavets, but don't come before the closing, because they won't let you in without a scandal.
I advise everyone to visit the M. Bilas Museum - the impressions of the Master's works are unsurpassed.
to the Old Vienna Hotel. They were delighted. Decent hotel, design, cleanliness. I was struck by how nice they treat you. There was a feeling that we were the dearest guests for them. We even wanted to stay in Truskavets for 2 days to live there, but unfortunately my husband was urgently called to work. Now in Truskavets we know where to settle. We recommend to everyone.
From the first minute of my stay at the hotel, I was delighted with the attention and professionalism of the staff, who, first of all, care about the convenience of the guests!! ! I was offered a magnificent, beautiful and comfortable room, which had everything you need for a carefree holiday - perfume, bathrobe, TV....I especially liked the balcony with wicker furniture and a magnificent view of local attractions!! ! Since I was in the city for the first time, the administrators offered me several options for recreation!! ! Excursions, restaurants, Med - Palace, transfer - and all this thanks to the staff of the "Old Vienna"!! ! Thank you all so much - my vacation was unforgettable!! !
