We stopped for the second time in Geneva, more precisely in the Grand Royal, the choice was made because of the presence of a spa and three meals a day. I just wanted to have a quiet time. But then we were in for a major surprise. It turns out that the hotel has entered into an agreement with some kind of Polish social insurance for the recovery of Polish pensioners. I have nothing against either pensioners or Poles. But the way these comrades behave is simply incomprehensible to the mind. Anecdotes about the behavior of our abroad, these are just the writings of schoolchildren compared to Hitchcock's stories. In short, queues are just everywhere, constant indignation and swearing with the staff, you feel not in a hotel, but in a nursing home who behave very arrogantly. Eating is a topic for a separate conversation, in the dining room one gets the impression that Mamenko, telling a joke about our people at the buffet, drew a picture in the dining room of GENEVA. I don’t call this place a restaurant, I just probably don’t have enough figurative thinking and imagination for this.
The hotel staff is not at all accustomed to working with such clients, and the managers are all on their side, as long as the hotel is loaded.
You can’t get into the SPA, there are so many grandparents in all the pools that even with a meager imagination, salt pools can be compared with a jar of spicy salted wasashi.

It is frankly felt that the hotel urgently needs a refreshing renovation and a good manager. I was surprised to learn that it is listed as 5 stars, in my opinion, at least two stars are superfluous there.
My impression of visiting the Grand Hotel, Geneva - no more than a tour if you want to keep your health and nerves.
