Well, here we are again on a business trip to Konotop. For some reason, I remembered childhood and Kolya Gerasimov from the film "Guest from the Future" and that he was a 6th grade student from the city of Konotop. So, having finished with work affairs, I went to look for the Cosmodrome. But it wasn’t there, I saw a lot, but I didn’t find the cosmodrome. But first things first. You can come to the regional center of the Sumy region by personal transport, up to the plane and helicopter, there is a poor airfield. In the good old days, for 2 rubles you could fly from Sumy to Konotop on a cornfield. So I got to Konotop by train (you can see the schedule at pz. gov. ua or uz. gov. ua) back by bus, you can see the bus schedule at the bus station on the bus website. sumy. ua distance between railway station and bus station 10 min. on foot. To the center there are 3 stops of public transport from the railway station (minibus or tram), in my opinion this is the only regional center in Ukraine where there is a tram. Well, here I am, and in the center of Konotop on the main street there is a monument to the Horse, that is, the horse. Indeed, according to one of the legends, this place was a konotop, this is the place where horses drowned. As in any provincial city, everything is placed compactly. There are a lot of churches, but as for an Orthodox town, I saw a Roman Catholic church. I walked further and saw a monument to a tram and a tram depot nearby, I also saw how trams go in different directions along the same tram line, it even looks very interesting when reaching the tram fork, the car driver gets off the tram and switches the arrow and so does the next one. I also tried to find the place where Kazimir Malevich lived, but he never found it, because the locals who met me could not indicate the exact address, and time was limited. A bus ride costs 2 UAH. , You can eat from 40 UAH, which is equal to 5 US dollars (this includes the first, second, third and compote). I can't say anything about hotels because the trip was one day. Next time I want to visit Baturin, since it is not far from it, no more than 30 km, and buses go there.
