Due to the late departure on the Berdichev-Uzhgorod route, an overnight stop was planned. The hotel was booked in advance through Booking. com. 2 days before the booked date, the hostess called me back to clarify: the hotel is located in Stryi, and not in Lviv, as many “bookers” for some reason think from her words. But I knew it, and what's more, that's what it was meant to be. Therefore, she simply confirmed the check-in, had a nice conversation about the fact that there are a lot of tourists on May wandering around the country and said goodbye.
Well, about the hotel. From the pictures on Booking, I imagined a completely different place, something like a private guest house. Due to a very late arrival in the evening, there was no time to consider the beauty. It's nice that despite the arrival at the first hour of the night, the owners waited for the late guests. I really liked the cleanliness of the room. Booked a double "Comfort" for 350.00 UAH. (with breakfast). For an overnight stay on the road, it is the most. In the room (sufficiently spacious): a standard set of furniture (new furniture), TV (not plasma), kettle, cups, refrigerator. The room is separated from the corridor and the bathroom by a door, which is very convenient in terms of sound insulation. The bathroom has a hairdryer. There are no dressing gowns, slippers, and the budget room. Also, the room has a sufficient number of sockets to simultaneously charge all available gadgets, this is a rarity, usually there are 2 sockets: for a refrigerator and TV.
The breakfast is rather modest, but everything is fresh and tasty. Well-groomed territory, in the courtyard there is a fountain and gazebos, a lot of greenery. The hotel also has a sauna, swimming pool, billiards (we didn’t bath ourselves, didn’t swim, didn’t play, alas) /
Summary: In general, for a town like Stryi, this is a VERY worthy hotel.
Pros: value for money, cleanliness, availability of a kettle in the room, free parking with video surveillance, landscaped area, very pleasant and efficient staff (including the owners).
Cons (even rather minuses): rather modest breakfast. At the time of arrival, the elevator was not working, but this is probably a temporary discrepancy.
