We have never rested in the Carpathians or the Carpathians, although we have been living in Ukraine all our lives. We went more out of curiosity, so we chose a hotel with good reviews (well, the discount coupon came in handy). A trip with accommodation for 4 days cost around 2600 UAH.
HOW TO GET TO. Our train was late. . . And the bus to Skhidnytsia left without us. To get to the bus stop, you need to bypass the train and go to the opposite side from the station. The cost of the bus "Truskovets - Skhidnytsia" - 8 UAH. Runs about once an hour. Those who are late for the bus are guarded by local bombers, they will take you directly to the hotel for 40 UAH / person.
HOTEL. Incredibly pleasant, I think in the Turkish-Egyptian it would have hung like 5 *. We stayed in a junior suite and I must admit that the rooms in the hotel are first class. Huge room with carpet. The room has everything you need: Internet (! ), LCD TV with 26 channels (with USB, which reads only pictures, unfortunately), minibar (can be used as a refrigerator), a large wardrobe with hangers (there is a free safe in the wardrobe, a couple bathrobes and house slippers, there is even a mosquito fumigator). There is an electric kettle and tea and coffee bags on the table in the room. A couple of half-liter bottles of water will be brought to your room daily. So tea and coffee is not a problem.

We got a room without a balcony, but with a large bathroom and a huge bathtub. Hot water is uninterrupted, around the clock. The caring administration provides a bunch of bottles of shower gels. shampoos, a couple of small bars of soap, even a couple of combs. There is a scale in the bathroom so you can control your weight. Well, the panorama from the toilet window is a dense Carpathian forest =)
FOOD. They feed cool. The hotel food system does not include a buffet. Instead, you will be assigned a permanent place at the table, where restaurant workers (I personally can’t call it a canteen) will bring you the selected menu. Every day at breakfast you choose what you will be fed tomorrow. The choice of dishes is large, the food is very tasty. For breakfast, be sure to have yogurt, for dinner - kefir or ryazhenka. Fruit for lunch. In general, I give a tooth, you will not starve. I personally went constantly to dinner with a stuffed stomach after dinner. I wouldn't be able to lose weight. Although the diet menu is optional.
SHIDNICA. A small village, in which mostly hotels and in almost every house you can rent a bed or a room. Zhil is generally inexpensive, both here and in Truskavets. The most expensive accommodation I've heard of is 200 UAH per day, but it's full of stuffing and even with autonomous heating (the nights are already cold). Store prices are a little higher. than in the central part of the country, but public catering is very affordable: I think for 50 UAH you can have a good meal together, and for 100 UAH it’s nice to sit. There is a market not far from the hotel, but by 14.00 the streets are empty, the market is closed. I do not know why. For health benefits, you can go for a walk in the forest. People migrate from source to source, but we are not fans of mineral waters, so we did not share the enthusiasm. But, of course, we walked, looked and tried.
Lots of land and houses for sale. The local developer offers "turnkey" 8 acres + a house of 200 sq. m. for $125k, advertising all over Skhidnytsia. Wired Internet - 80 UAH for 5 Mb.
In general, to go to relax is the most it. I liked the hotel and the surroundings are nice. Despite the bad weather (it rained for a couple of days), we had our time and the opportunity to heartily walk through the forest and go for a walk in Truskovets (I recommend).
