Recently I was at the tourist center "Phoenix" on the shores of Lake Svityaz. The hostel is, without a doubt, the best on the entire coast, the conditions are excellent: the distance to the lake is about 100 meters, a wonderful well-groomed and artistically decorated area, with beautiful flower beds and a small playground, the buildings are a wooden frame, which provides clean air in the rooms around the clock.
Conveniences - on the block, plumbing is fairly new, the furniture is new and comfortable, the room has a heater, TV, metal-plastic windows. Restaurant quality food at very reasonable prices. Instead of the traditional "canteen" - a large room with a real fireplace, in which wood crackles comfortably.
Svityaz is a small sea. The water is very clear, the beach is grassy, ​ ​ equipped, shallow near the shore. The hostel "Phoenix" is located on the so-called Ridge, where many hostels and boarding houses are much "simpler". There are also shops and cafes, which, however, did not work - not in season. The place is ideal for lovers of a relaxing holiday in nature, who want to relieve stress with a walk in the forest (the air is literally "delicious" - you want to bottle it). Around - birch, pine, spruce and many other trees and herbs. In "Phoenix" you can also order a tour of the Shatsk Lakes, as well as to Vladimir-Volynsky, Lutsk and other historical places of Volyn.

A significant disadvantage is the difficult communication with the nearest city - Shatsk. No regular transport goes there from the camp sites, you can only use the services of enterprising local taxi drivers (1 trip from the camp site to Shatsk - about 2 km - will cost 15 UAH. ) Taxi can be called directly from the reception desk, and if you are coming from Shatsk - from bus stations. Walkers can walk to Shatsk on foot - about 2 km. (the road, however, is sandy, through the forest). But from Schatsk by minibus you can get to any city in the Volyn region for a maximum of 20 UAH. The roads are good and very picturesque, trips are well tolerated.
I recommend bringing warm clothes, mosquito repellent and good company.
