Long chose a hotel in Satanov. Unfortunately, there wasn't much choice. Initially, I was embarrassed by a large number of negative reviews, but a beautiful advertising picture, and most importantly the absence of a worthy alternative, did their job, and I made a reservation by phone. They promised that everything would be fine, that this was the best hotel in Satanov, that they had the best food. No advance payment was asked.
We drove by car. Traveled from Kyiv via Viytivtsi. On the Zhytomyr-Khmelnitsky section, the road is 3, sometimes 3+. The section Viytivci-Satanov is at 3-, the further the more terrible, but in general you can still go.
The hotel at first glance made a good impression, well-groomed territory, greenery and fountains. And nearby....Almost at a distance of less than 100 m from the hotel, a construction site rumbling from morning to night, with flying dust, sawdust and dirt. There are good gazebos on the territory, swinging benches with a roof where you can hide in the rain. I immediately caught my eye , more precisely in the nose the smell of food in the hallway. And the smell is unpleasant.

The interior of the hotel is not bad. The rooms are spacious, but when you look closely, you notice a lot of unpleasant little things. The impression that they are trying to throw dust in your eyes. The furniture is not functional. There are no clothes dryers, people dry their towels right on the railings of the balconies.
We were settled in a two-room suite, the first room, which is also parishioners with a sofa (as it turned out, he had a very uncomfortable mattress and the sofa itself was partially broken). When you lie on it, your legs are higher than your head. The second room is tiny, it has only a double bed.
The room has a good Sony LCD TV, but it showed terribly (signal quality). Normally, it only shows 2 channels.
The most interesting began later.
The food in the restaurant, although it is more like a dining room, is monotonous and not tasty (sweet dishes are not sweet, salty are not salty). Again, the interior is excellent, but the kitchen itself…. I am not spoiled, but I went to the dining room at work with great pleasure.
The next day I went to pay the rent. It turned out that the cost is 100 hryvnia per day more than the director told us on the phone and parking is paid (15 hryvnia per day).
A week later, water began to drip from the ceiling onto the bed, because the hose at the dishwasher in the banquet hall above our room burst. The bed, linen, everything was wet. We were moved to another room nearby in the evening. in the shower room. It turned out that there were no parts for repairing the faucet in the hotel and you need to go to Khmelnitsky for them, but for now we were again moved to the next room (three-room). didn’t live): dirt, cobwebs everywhere with spiders crawling on the floor and window sills, dirty windows, horror on the balcony, and the exit to the balcony was overgrown with cobwebs. We couldn’t stay in this room and returned to our previous room with a broken tap in the shower. We lived in it for 3 days, after which the faucet was still repaired.

The rooms are cleaned 6 days a week, but somehow without enthusiasm, the linen in the room is unclean and stained, and the blanket generally came across with a huge bloody stain, and they didn’t even wash it, but simply dried it, judging by the appearance of the stains, and put it in a duvet cover. We they asked to replace the blanket, they brought another one that was also not very clean. Outside the windows, there is a cobweb, no one cleans it. At the reception (on the ground floor), right on the counter, there is a cobweb with a crawling spider, which was removed 12 days after our arrival.
Outcome:
The hotel itself is probably not bad if it had a good owner who could organize work in it at the proper level. You need to understand that this is a private hotel and the service in it for the client should be at least at an average level . The owner should pay more attention to work with the staff. It is not optimal in terms of quantity (some can be removed), find a smart manager (preferably not local). And control, control and more control!
